- Hello everyone :)
As many of you suggested this video does not have any music in the background, I hope you enjoy this new clip Landing and Taking off from Leeds Bradford airport (EGNM-LBA).
STAR: REXAM-BARTN-POL (vectors)
APPROACH: ILS 32
SID: NELSA 3W
METAR: 280/9 230V320 10KM FEW040 16/07 1016
Solid. I’ve always thought that, if so given the chance to fly any civil jet of my choice, it’d be a 737. Such a little superstar.
Ferrariman601 it is an absolute joy to fly it, what would you like to see next? :)
Lovely to see the countryside from above. Wish I could be there. Not this COVID year, unfortunately.
Love it. Boeing's solid smaller workhorse in action. May Max and NG get well soon.
Mike Crake We are getting closer to flying the Max again :)
Yay. X wait to see that beauty fly and also behave herself. She must be afraid of heights
Fantastic full landing video man!
AVIATION & TRAVEL thank you very much for your support as always :)
Had no idea pilots had to move the yoke so much! Looks like a lot of work!
Same as a little Cessna :)
Twitchy plane the 737. Give me an Airbus any day.
perfect video . thank you very much
Great video! Keep them coming! Greetings from Germany :)
J. Stein immensely thankful for your support, thank you :)
I know that 1800m can be considered a short landing but search for Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport in RUclips. The main runway is only 1300m long and it is one of the most busy airport in Brazil with a lot of 737, e190 and even the a320neo taking off and landing every day! Hahahaha Anyway, such a great video!!
You’re right, I have seen videos myself of 737s landing there; the shortest runways I’ve landed on are respectively London Southend (England) 1602m and Dortmund (Germany) 1700m :)
@@AviationHubOfficial amazing! There is no doubt that the 737 is one of the toughest planes in history! Great for almost every runway!
It's actually a longer 2250metre in length which in the UK is fairly average length runway, so an ok length for the likes of a320, 757,737 but not suitable for a fully loaded 747,777 and the like, although those types can still use it.
That is correct, the runway length is 2250m but you can’t use all of that, the Landing distance available is 1802m !
@@AviationHubOfficial think 1802m is landing runway14 but 32 is about 100metres more, they need to move the runway 32 touchdown point back 300metre or so to the flat section of runway, this would dramatically improve the runway
@@easydrive3662 Again correct, yes please! And by the sound of it I’d say you have been there plenty of times; and I can’t agree more with you considering 90% of the time is either crosswind or wet runway, it would definitely improve the runway!!
No 747 can fly there fully loaded they used to fly to Canada and us form here and a310 to Pakistan
Incorrect runway length. Actual runway length is 2250m
It refers to the Landing distance available, that’s why, you can’t use the 2250 for landing😉
LDA for 32 is 1916 m
@@stuarthodge3187 This was 14
1916 is correct LDA for 32 LBA. And may I add from many years operating in and out of LBA in F27, DC9, B737-3/4/500, and A320 family always use full reverse to avoid cooking the brakes and in the 73 autobrake 3/max so that you don’t miss the turning into the apron.

Mate I love all videos aimed at aviation, I love it and I have x plane 11 and fly the 737-800 all the time, she just soars like a bird. Great vids mate and enjoy watching. Do u fly to Princess Juliet St Maarten at all?, would love to see approach rw10 if u do m8. Thanks.
Glad to hear you like flying the 737 :)
I personally don’t fly into St Marteen, but I got to agree with you the approach for Rwy 10 is a very nice one
It’s 2250 mitres
Isn’t it 2250m at Leeds?
Its 1916m (LDA) for RWY32 and 1802m for RWY14 :)
is 737 can land on 1200 m runway . Espicially b737 -700
LBA has 2250 metre runway not 1800
Jet2 pilot ?
Why do you always grab your dash after every land? 5:03
What airline was this?
