Great gameplay! As a Punisher main myself I learned a lot. As Punisher you need a good healer. I’ve had good healers and have survived flanks by Spidey, Witch, Thor, Iron Fist, Blank Panther, Captain America, Venom and Hulk. A good healer with the Punisher Shotty is a lifesaver. With that being said hate being on those teams where they don’t pay attention to those guys attacking are back line of support and healers. Quickest way to lose a match.
This comment encapsulates my time playing as punisher perfectly, he's really the only character I enjoy playing but without a good healer you're losing like 8/10 times. When you get a good healer though you feel like God.
Loved the footage, but I gotta ask: How come no shotgun? I feel like there's a few times when you get in close it would just shred their tanks or DPS...
He Used Everything but what I found most OD was him movement
Sometimes the shotgun is inconsistent and can miss a ton in close range feels like it has a delay before firing but with the rifle it's consistent and you know you can hit it
I believe the shotgun was nerfed recently. Through personal play I've also found the rifle more consistent even up close. If they add pushback with the shotgun I'd be happy

You can call it complaining all you want, it’s really just constructive criticism for a major and very obvious miss by the devs. I’m back to playing overwatch until rivals add role queue, which they ofc will, the only question is how many players they’ll let go elsewhere before they do.
it is kinda tragic that high level looks really boring. Nobody goes in you kinda just ada down main like jane. I thought it would be super wild and crazy. You kinda just sit and play slow I was hoping to see some backline zipline shotgun action.
Punisher and Hela were crazy in beta and they barely got adjusted, the meta will be poke until that changes. Ultron will probably make it worse.
@ No different then Overwatch lol didn’t think the clone would actually be a hard clone. But it has a lot of things going for it so I’m excited to what happens. Game is like 4 days old who knows maybe the devs will care about this game unlike another game we all know

one thing i learned recently after watching a couple of yours vids is about using the smoke grenade offensively, i hadnt considered that at all before
People don't understand how strong is the Rocket and Punisher team up. Now they both got a slight buff, they are strong as hell and with Punisher's rifle and shotgun faster fire rate makes it VERY deadly. I really wish I can see more of that combo often. As a Punisher main, you play amazing btw. Loved the gameplay.

In no expert but it’s probably because it’s just not that good. You do gain some health and a lot of damage but the bullets become projectiles rather than his primary hitscan, which aren’t as consistent. You also become stationary which is obviously not good either
It’s projectile and forces you to stand still, just no upside honestly.
@@bennyvasquez6872 Being stationary isn’t good generally in high elo haha. I just wasn’t comfortable using it as much since you get dove or focused almost instantly when using it.
I will say though since this vid, I’ve experimented with it more and found some useful angles on certain maps. Stay tuned for more :)

Like when in control, you can place the turret on the payload, and move with it on top. to penalyze the solo dude that always pop infront

Been loving punisher myself. Shotgun is really effective up close against most tanks, but venom and hulk especially because you barely miss pellets. Turret is almost only useful on payload maps on defense. Can be useful on attack and capture point maps if their whole team is pushing around the same corner and you can just hold that line with bullets. But I am like you in the fact that its mainly rifle only. Bust out the shotgun when getting dove by venoms or iron fists. Magik you gotta run away she melts punisher, shotgun misses too many pellets on her and she can invincibility dash and easily miss pumps. Good vod, my biggest takeaway is to use my smokes better. Looks like you can kill very low hp targets with the smoke? Good tip right there. Ill be staying tuned for more punisher vods. Im still pisslow elo right now but steadily climbing when I get a solid team ( mainly half decent healers)
I haven't met any good Magik players yet. I wanted to play her myself, but I absolutely sucked. The weird camera zoom out during her teleport slash throws me off.

Have you tried using this trick where on medium range you use autorifle(long range >= 40m is terrible by the way not recommend using it at that range, 73% damage reduced), then when someone's too close, use smoke up(deal 45 dmg + knockback somewhat) and after that, immediately switch to shotgun to finish the fight? I rarely see youtubers use that trick to either escape fight or finishing the job
I always do that it’s necessary to play him optimally
Also if you know psylocke had ult then you can play close your zip line and as soon as you hear her ult voice just zoom out
Poke is poke you’re not looking to do optimal damage at all times in hero shooters

@@Carknado I see, that make sense. But isn't that mean there's always opportunity to perform optimal damage when enemy is closing at most times(except when health is too low to engage, you gotta escape with zipline tool just like other commenter said)
Using zipline also make your character always jump high at the end of the line, making it a bit harder to track and giving opportunity to swap to shotgun for close range fight

Its medium range and you have to get it right on an object or wall. Also put it a little higher as well so u swing further, then hop off at the last second and u get a boost

How do you do that second jump after you use the zip line
just interact then jump when gliding through the zipline. Super efficient when you need to retreat or get to site from spawn.

you gotta stand still and the bullet is projectile. its very situational, very good if no one watching you (like in team war scenario and you camp in the back pf the rest of your team)

it has a big load period when you switch to it. So if someone dives on you, you probably cant get it out. its used in the situation that you have tiem in cover to get it out when you know they are getting close to you. other than that. keep that machine gun out

@@Carknado I wish I could, his shotgun just sucks now sadly. It was really good in beta but got nerfed heavily. Feels super sluggish now and the range is awful. I find myself only using the rifle, especially in high elo because I have to keep my distance since punisher has a massive hit box and can die almost instantly.

Ah the dps overwatch battlecry. Dps are never at fault, its always the nea.ers fault. Well if you dont have a static healer to play with you better learn to play healer as well, because jjst like in Overwatch this game will have the same issue in solo que where everyone wants be dps and no wants to heal.
@@JoshThompson25 That has been happening lately. And quite selfish too. So why should I sacrifice my play as a tank or dps to be a healer for selfish teammates? They don't deserve any heals. I just consider it a loss and move on.
@DaMAger23 i mean if you want to better your chances at winning games you gotta be able to flex. People who pull the "i only play tank or i only play dps" are just lazy. What's stopping anyone that plays this game from being able to play a couple characters from each role? Imo opinion if you are a dps or tank only player then you may want to find people to que with to fill the roles. If you solo que and want to climb you should be able to flex
@JoshThompson25 I flex. I have at least 2 characters in each role that I can play and enjoy playing. I play them effectively enough to win, nothing special or off the world great, I am realistic. I do solo queue often. My point is when I know or identify players to be selfish (by this I mean those who come into game, knowing we have ample enough of one role, but still choose to pick same role), I am already prepared to chalk it up as a loss unless that team is ridiculously good, which is extremely rare.
90% of the time, I pick first, likely because people still fail to understand that SSDs are best to run games on, or maybe their connection is bad. Every time I run rank, I am the first or second to fully load in and prepped to select a role, while I have to wait for everyone else, which sometimes gets annoying. If I happen to come in to a game, and I pick last of after team comp is identified, then I'll glady pick roles that are missing.
I'll be selfish just the same. It's still just a game and no sweat off my back if we lose. I don't get emotional about any of that. I move on.
