RCSD: Community Action Team

The Community Action Team is a group of specialized, highly trained officers. It is their mission, using community oriented policing methods, to solve law enforcement problems that arise in the various communities of Richland County. However, the C.A.T. program is far more than a mere extension of law enforcement.

Would be nice to have something like this in our town “Bradenton, FL” Biggest heroin problem in Florida. Yet when you try to tell the Sheriffs office about a known Heroin house with massive amount of traffic in and out all day. They tell you in all honesty, that there is pretty much nothing they can do about it. Oh they have a hotline you can call. But it’s useless. Good job y’all are doing to be involved in the community and actually trying to make a difference. We need more departments like this
