Aww… I wanna hug the mom in the song! 😢 This probably expresses the hurt, pain, sadness, and everything else an expecting mother feels when or if she loses her baby due to a miscarriage or stillbirth. I haven’t experienced such events, but others have. I’d share this with others who went through the same thing like the mom in the song. It might help let out inner turmoil that hasn’t made it out
I agree. The songwriting behind this song was inspired off of the sadness of losing a child to that sort of tragedy. A family member of mine lost a child to miscarriage a little while back, and it's a very sad thing to deal with. In whatever way, I hope that this song can give those who have dealt with that sort of loss something so that they don't feel so alone.
