My opinion: the guy didn't want to take away the dogs' heroism by helping, I mean he could clearly see the dog had it under control. I think his hollering "bring him in" , was just his excitement (I couldhear it in his voice) of it all, and all he could think to do, without stealing the dogs shine.🤭 cheering the dog on, is what I want to say.

Man, orangutans never cease to amaze me. They are literally like people. I don't know why this isn't taught more to kids, how close some relatives appear to us. It's probably one of the coolest features of this planet, we still have some other relatives that look like us.

@@justaguywholikeshentai9019 That was an orangutan (a greater ape), not a monkey (monkeys have tails); both belong to the primate family. Primates consist of humans, greater apes, lesser apes, old and new world monkeys, and prosimians. This also took place at a zoo, so the person filming was very likely a visitor; the tortoise was also probably at a zoo. I agree man should have helped the deer rather than filming it. As for the elephant, the mother probably would have attacked anyone coming close to her baby; they are extremely protective of their young.
I would love to just walk up to them and open handed slap them as hard as I could in their chops...and just nonchalantly carry on walking past them.
For the tortoise one there is an explanation maybe.
Since the cameraman saw that another tortoise was already coming to help they stopped. Still not reasonable for some of the others

The orangutan especially gets to me because he’s so gentle. It’s so common to hear of large animals accidentally hurting other animals or people unintentionally (trying to play with them or protect them) because of their size and strength, picking up that tiny bird is amazing

That first video was absolutely amazing to watch on about 16 different levels...first he tries using tools to help the bird...even examines it upon failing to see if it was ok...but then knows that's not going to work and you watch a 500+ pound Orangutan gently pick up a 15oz bird, set it gently down...and then watches it....

I think the orangutan, tortoise and elephants were in enclosures, so the people filming couldn't get to them. The man with the dog did try to approach to help but wasn't really needed once the deer was out of the water. Regarding the cat, they were at the other side of the giant pit, and, in all fairness, mother cat didn't need help.
Thank you Dodo for making my night! Seeing animals help each other really reminds me to keep my eyes open for anything human or animal that could use assisting. You're spreading the love!

People help other people and animals all the time. We just very rarely hear about all of the good deeds that people do. Instead we're always shown the worst of humanity which makes everyone, including myself start to lose hope sometimes. So in a way I do kind of understand what you're saying but I still disagree. Sure, there are a lot of scumbags out there but not everyone is cruel and selfish.
Animals have their own set of morals; which is why animals with often protect the vulnerable; some won't but alot will just as humans. Alot of people do still help eachother and animals..you should volunteer; rewarding experience and shows you there's still alot of really good people out there.

The orangutan was in a ZOO. Calm down and understand that we wouldn’t have been able to help them. That was probably their instinct anyway so leave them to it

These are only few caught on cam, imagine how the whole ecosystem functions in similar collaborative way, starting from microorganisms level to giants of the nature and universe.
The documentaries about the relation ship between fungi and plants are a good start to realizing how we are ALL connected.

It is just heart-grabbing to see when animals help another in trouble! Animals sense things we don't even understand, and they just know when another animal is really in trouble! It is one thing to see a mother rescue her offspring, that's very natural, but herd animals, like the elephant, often work together to solve problems when one of the herd is in trouble!
Not only that but animals from different species! like the dog that rescued the deer! (Although it could have been trained to rescue…but I hope it did on its own accord because it wanted to help)

Its sad, many animals wouldn't survive out there. And yes, while killing animals isnt good, thats how it is. Its the foodchain. We need meat, if you never ate meat im pretty sure you could die, but yes, animals are truly amazing.
Minty what bullshit is this. Vegetarians and vegans (who don't eat animals because they're not cruel and heartless) live, on average, seven years longer than meat-eaters. Eating meat leads to cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease. Eating plants leads to long lives, health and no cruelty
BritneyHIAM You dont need to call meat eaters heartless and cruel. I dont say killing animals is good, but its supposed to be like this. We're on top of the food chain, its completly normal we want to eat some meat. Im not even gonna mention the fact, some (if not most) of us dont like vegetables. Most of the food i eat contains meat, so if i dont want to starve or have serious health problems i'll eat meat.

Meat eaters ARE heartless and cruel, they pay for animals to be MURDERED. If that's not heartless, then I don't know what is. Eating meat leads to cancer, cholesterol, heart disease and high blood pressure. 90% of food contains no meat- like fruit, vegetables, breads, rice, chips, pastas, tofu, sweets, crisps, vegetarian meat-substitutes etc.
Respect animals and dont forget they have heart also like us

Its unique to see animals help anotjer so i guess they wanted to capture it and some animals might be in zoos where glass is inbetween u and the animal so either way you cant help

Its a double edged sword. If other animals of the same species smell each other, and notice that one of them has been in contact with a human, they might abandon them. Same for if humans come in contact with wild baby animals and touch them, their mother might abandon them. Thats why national parks strictly warn you not to touch the animals
