so what tengen did is basically what uchia do but with his hearing. he memorized the pattern of the sounds Up 6 made when he fought, and listened fr repotition so he knew exactly how he was going to attack. if it didnt take so long to do, he would have won easily. that being said, any other hashira would have lost due to the poison, as other then shinobu, who doenst have the strength, speed or stamina that tengen has, no other hashira has a resistance to poison so a single cut whould have killed any of them in conclusion, tengen may not be the strongest hashira, but hes definitely a goat

Gyutaro is a true powerful upper demon like keeps on fighting and not stop. Tanjiro, zenitsu and inosuke they finally kill the two upper moon 6 demon's daki and gyutaro. This episode is like a movie right there.

It will be explained later that Inosuke can feel the murder instinct when attacked, due to his super sensitive skin. It's like the spider sense. The moment Gyutaro attacked he realized he was aiming for his heart so he moved his heart a little to the side to avoid the tip of the blade. But they will only explain it later in the anime, probaly in season 4. But I agree that the way it was portrayed sounded like plot armor.
i can understand that point but in an earlier episode we did watch him shift his inner organs to crawl through a small space and tunnel his way into a new location. so it wasn't so far fetched to know he can move his heart
As a manga reader, before even the movie that came out, I thought, this is a good arc but I feel the ones to come are better. THEN after this season, either I am misremembering the quality of the arc or the next ones are going to be in there something I can't fathom (this is strictly my opinion). Then on to animation, I thought the movie was going to be peck animation, especially since it is a movie, they will but time and effort into it and which they did. But episode 17 season 2 just says they they don't follow the standard protocol or they haven't reach their full potential. And I am exited to what happens next.

Tanjiro is definitely at hashira level after this fight. his wisdom, never give up attitude, and sheer fighting spirit were outstanding. They could not win this fight if tanjiro was easily gave up.
Nah he is 100% not hashira level yet at this point, he won’t be until after the hashira training arc, and even then majority of the hashira are better than him until events in the infinite castle arc. They wouldn’t have won if any of them gave up. Uzui also did the heavy lifting for majority off the fight bodying Daki in the beginning and holding Gyutaro off for the majority. Tanjiro was barely able to defend himself against Gyutaro for a few seconds, Uzui saved him multiple times. Uzui is MVP of this fight, but it took all for of them to pull off the win.

I said it took all of them, if just one of them didn’t step up it would’ve meant they all died. Tanjiro was the ultimate assist to Uzui for the whole fight, and I say that with respect.

I was replying to the OP that he ain’t there yet and that it was a team effort and Uzui did the heavy lifting, since ya know he’s the hashira. As I said Tanjiro made the best of a bad situation, and was a major assist to Uzui for the fight. That’s not disrespect, he played a key role. Just cause I’m not calling Tanjiro MVP, doesn’t mean I’m dismissing him.

To say that uzui did most of the work is accurate and not accurate at the same time seeing as the first person to make combat with doki was tanjiro and held his own pretty well against her. tanjiro also fought with uzui to try and behead gyutaro but both were unsuccessful and uzui had to fake his own death to save himself... I would say that all of these men carried their weight in this arc and im especially proud of the kind of leadership inosuke took on to behead to doki on his attempt.
This is just a weak upper demon moon. Wait till they get to the infinity castle arc and battle it out with the rest of the upper demon moons, they got rekt🤣
