- Amtrak Northeast Regional trains fly through Canton, Massachusetts. Two AEM-7s remain in service; however, this video is evidence the Northeast Corridor belongs to the "Amtrak Cities Sprinter". Siemens ACS-64 locomotives appearing in this video: AMTK 646, AMTK 660, AMTK 638, AMTK 630, AMTK 615, AMTK 614. Also making a brief cameo is the Acela Express, led by AMTK 2002.

Those ACS-64s look so fresh! I love them!
And at 0:30 is 622. It's funny you caught 621 and 622 in the same video.
0:45 you were so close the train!
sounds just like Europe trains! love those LED lights
Maybe because the loc is from Siemens? ^^
what kid of speed are they doing through the station?
+Stephan M 125mph
Stephan M wow is that their top speed
Not through Canton Junction. They go about 115-120 through there. Maybe less. Through Mansfield MA they go 125.
@@me-it9jn That is the max service speed of the ACS-64, while the max factory speed is 135mph i believe. The Acela is either 155mph or 160mph, i hear different answers. The Avelia Liberty will enter service at 160mph.
1:40-1:47 best shot!
!tohs tseb 74:1-04:1
Be careful of transit police cuz they yelled at me for using a different tri pod on the station platform
wow
Lovely speedy action!! Subscribed you, and hoping you would do the same!!
Thanks and Cheers from India!!
Great video, great that they show the speed that the trains do just outside of Boston. Any idea which trains and where they go had the baggage cars on them?
Did the second acs-64 have a bronze or steel bell instead of an electric bell?
They all have E-bells
Yeah I recently figured that out lol
Clunkers gotta Clunk!
Real quick... how exactly is one able to get rid of the flicker from LED lights like the headlight on the top of the cab of the ACS-64's? I forgot how to do it and I thought I'd ask since I don't see any flicker in your video with the LED's. Thanks in advance!
railfandude123 the lack of flicker in this video is because they are using their full headlights. If the headlight is set to "dim," only the ring of smaller bulbs is on, and a lot of cameras are sensitive to the light emitted by groups of small LED bulbs close together
Fairfax County Railfan Studios Gotcha... I actually was able to fix this issue with some adjustments to my shutter speed. Thanks again!
railfandude123 no problem!
Hey, the engine at 3:05 is ACS-64 621
Good service
Wicked awesome vid!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this the portion of the territory where the Acela reaches 155mph?
Acela speed here is 130MPH, Regionals 120MPH. Just west of the station is a 125/115 restriction. Their is no sections where the Acela goes above 150MPH.
@@FFred-us9tw i know the maximum speed they reach is 150 im not sure why I wrote 155. In my territory maximum is 135mph but i know they have been testing new train sets recently up to 165mph since they installed constant tension catenary
awesome
Ewwww ACS64. P42 for life
Rail Faner I think electric trains are better than diesel trains
Ok boomer
