I saw a post on this on twitter, they addressed it and recognized they should put subtitles. They've done it from episode 3 of season2 and said they will continue to put subtitles on previous episodes
I'm so glad Truth Seekers was as high up as it was. When I first watched it, I had a full on physical reaction at how incredible the animation was. As a long time fan of animation, trying to delve into it myself at some points, I had nothing but pure, unadulterated hype and appreciation for the quality the animators put into that episode. Nothing will beat the high of watching Stolas go batshit insane at the humans. It's like the leap of faith scene from spiderverse for me, except it is violence and gore and I love it
I know this show isn't perfect. But I love it. My grandmother and I would watch the pilot together and we were planning to watch the series together. But sadly she passed away the Tuesday before episode 1 came out. So this show kinda has a personal place in my heart
My personal ranking: 8. Ozzie's, I get second-hand embarrassment hard, and this episode was loaded with it. A shame, since Asmodeus' song was a banger. 7. Queen Bee, a fun time, but I have no reason to rewatch it, and I feel like the music video overstayed its welcome. 6. C.H.E.R.U.B., not at all bad, but other episodes just surpass it. 5. Spring Broken, I don't have any special comments about this one. 4. Harvest Moon, the final act was the most tense part of the season for me, and it had me excited to see more Striker. Sucks that 2-4 was garbage. 3. Murder Family, I could recite this episode I watched it so many times. It's just good fun. 2. Loo Loo Land, beautiful opening song, Stolas and Octavia's heart-to-heart was adorable, while the episode still manages to crack some great jokes. 1. Truth Seekers, the entire interrogation scene is my favorite part of the season and maybe even the show, and the action sequence at the end may be the season's best as well.
My ranking: 1. Ozzies: just amazing in every way. Chef's kiss of an episode. 2. Truth Seekers: love the song and the fight scene. Ooo and Stolas demon time. I've rewatched this episode so many times. 3. Spring Broken: like a lot of the character moments. Drunk Moxie is funny. 4. Loo Loo Land: When I really fell in love with the series. Nice insight on Stolas and Octavia. 5. Harvest Moon: This episode made Striker was cool. The action was great. Nice serious beats. 6. Murder Family: the beginning was great. It was nice to see i.m.p. on the job too. 7. Pilot: funny as fuck. little rough around the edges. Lets you know what this series is about. I do like the Helluva Boss pilot more than the Hazbin pilot too. 8. Queen Bee: Nice feel good epidode. It's pretty. I was waiting for the follow-up with Tex. Bee's cool. I like the Loona time. Not much to comment on. 9. C.H.E.R.U.B.S.: It is kinda funny but I hate the cherubs so much. I don’t even know why.
ill be honest at first i did expect helluva to be just a series of one shots based on sinners coming to I.M.P. for different jobs, and where the canonical/continuous storyline would just be the subplot in most episodes. im definitely not mad but im very very surprised and honestly impressed that this silly show has managed to pull at my heartstrings so perfectly i am obsessed with helluva
The cherubs episode is actually my favorite because it’s the funniest and I love how it feels like a dark twist of a sitcom. Maybe I’m just weird but I like it more then the self indulgent drama episodes.
Every time I watch one of your videos, I notice a new small detail that I missed in my watches of this show. I had to slow it down, but you can clearly see Blitzø shed a single tear when telling Stolas that it's not happening in Ozzies. Dude wasn't just on the verge of tears he was actively fighting them back. Holy hell I love all the small details.
Loo Loo Land is my favorite episode BECAUSE it was the moment I realized I was going to keep coming back to Helluva Boss over and over again. So good. I randomly quote the entire Stolas x Stella x Via sequence at the beginning all the time. It's so fun... especially Stella's screaming, lol.
Personally I would swap the pilot and spring broken it’s a great episode, it’s fun and hilarious but I would rather watch snippets than the actual episode

“I personally love Spring Broken because… reasons…” was a line that made me feel very, very seen. How does Helluva Boss continue to make Verosika Mayday so god damn hot?
Personally I think loo loo land is one of the best episodes with the best emotional moments while also having great comedy and action. Personally I would just swap episode 2 and 3 around on this ranking
I love how different the characters are in battle. Like moxie and Millie are a perfect match in the way they fight one ranged one melee. Or how Luna fights like an animal.
queen bee episode is good on its own but within context of the show I think it doesn’t hold up well. It doesn’t add any context to the next episode and doesnt explain why stolas and biltzo are all lovely dovey. The ozzies episode was such a pivotal moment in stolas and biltzo relationship you cant just skip over that. the conclusion to ozzies should NOT have been shown through a 5 second scene where you have to pause to read. It also has luna recognizing biltz as her father and seeing him vulnerable so when you put that into context of the next episode where she’s literally hitting him because he said she has an attitude problem just makes her seem like a asshole. In general I think the episode is good and fun but for a show that puts an emphasis on character development and characters to the point where it neglects things like world building and other important aspects.. this show did more harm than good to the characters
Season 2 sorta skipped over the Ozzie episode and continued on like that episode didn't happened. I don't think queen bee was suppose to carry on Solas and blitz and was instead to give development between Blitz and Luna.
@@ZekDraco It didnt have to of course but I think a lot of people were hoping for it to. The episode is supposed to be fun and an homage to vizs first viral vid, Im aware of that. I dont expect her entire personality to change but when you put context of this episode in previous episodes in season two i think as a character it just makes her unlikable. Helluva boss already struggled with its female characters and the one female character thats actually relatively expanded on, that being luna is extremely obnoxious. but i do understand what you mean by harder to be vulnerable when he isnt hindered by booze but maybe if she had an actual valid reason to be upset then i could understand where shes coming from.
"failing as a dad" is real fucking harsh when he's actually trying to be there for her even though he has his flaws, he's better than a lot of other dad's I know
I really can't agree with your assessment of CHERUB, especially since it was the last episode where the job of this workplace situational comedy actually drove the plot. There's the pilot, murder family, spring break, and the Cherubs. It was the last time we saw them actually on the job for the majority of the episode, the antagonists are the direct opposite of the protagonists, and the conflict seemed to bring more intensity out of both Millie and Blitz. The former seeming to take personal issue with the classist lamb and the latter being ready to throw hands at the sight of the cherubs. It's an episode entirely driven by the workplace situation in this alleged workplace sitcom. It's not narratively and emotionally gripping, but I'd consider it important for being the last episode that actually delivers on the show's initial premise since it feels like we've gotten too few status quo episodes for normal pacing. Now I know why we can't have more. This is a quality animated production that's not on any major network or streaming service. And this the side show for Hazbin Hotel. So they can't pace out the narrative and emotional beats if they want to tell an actual story. There's some distinction. The baby is the wound too tight leader and the lamb is classist/specist. Personally, I've been thinking that there is a really good way they can take the cherubs forward. They work with Charlie. I mean, she wants to get people to ascend to heaven, she is the most likely to actually shelter them, she can reach them with her good heart, and learning more about heaven's current state could help her project. Heck, with how much more outlandish some of the scenes were, especially the blatant physics defying piano, it could be neat if the Cherubs were set up to fail so they could help Charlie. The alternative is that the DHORKS encounter them while the Cherubs are drifting around in the mortal world.
9:58 this comment makes a pretty good point. For all we know we could have a pretty dark and serious show, a middle ground show both light hearted and dark humored packed with some humor like a more serious helluva boss or we could end up just getting an episodic show like family guy or spongebob but in hell. Hopefully we get the first or second choice 👍
for me personally 1. Ozzie's 2. Truth seekers 3, Queen Bee 4. Loo Loo Land 5. Harvest moon festival 6. Spring broken 7. C.H.E.R.U.B.S 8, Murder family 9. Pilot
This is an actually decent tier list, only complaint is the ranking of loo loo land and my personal bias against queen bee and spring broken, but yeah, cool list.
My ranking of season 1 1. Loo loo land 2. Truth seekers 3. The harvest moon festival 4. Ozzie’s 5. Spring broken 6. Murder family 7. Pilot 8. Queen bee 9. Cherub I feel like loo loo lane is like the perfect episode of what helluva boss is like you said. It was very enjoyable for me. ☺️
loved this video! :) heres my personal episode ranking: 9: cherubs 8: pilot 7: murder family 6: queen bee 5: spring broken 4: harvest moon festival 3: loo loo land 2: ozzies 1: truth seekers
Hm, fair and valid points and opinions, i can see where you’re coming from, i wonder how Season 2 will compare? Also, Fun Fact: Martha’s Daughter ended up being my favorite character in the entire Show, somehow.
1)This video was made before Unhappy Campers came out 2)He thinks Unhappy Campers is ok so to him, the "That theres no bad episode yet" statement still stands
cherubs is one of my favourites but it also lands at the bottom of the list for rating all of the episodes 😂 i thought it was hilarious and i quote parts from it ALL THE TIME.
I feel like harvest moon festival gets bonus points for me at least for having striker voiced by norman reedus. My ranking i think would be 9. CHERUB 8. The pilot 7. Murder Family 6. Loo loo land 5 spring broken. Verosika gets introduced and human disguise loona gets introduced, also drunk moxxie are all great 4. harvest moon festival, norman reedus voicing striker, Millie's family and just striker in general make this episode great for me. 3. Queen Bee 2. Ozzie the songs and verosika in this episode... oh my! Its a great episode 1. Truth Seekers, the animation style changes the songs, the fight sequence, everything about this episode is just so good. That scene that gets used here with the close up of stolas with the two guns is just *chef's kiss* 4 and 3 could be swapped around depending on when you ask me as well as 3-1 not including the potential swap of 4 and 3
This is a perfect ranking. Truth Seekers and Ozzies are easily the best episodes. I agree with all your opinions, although I think you give CHERUBS too much credit lol.
In my opionion: Iwould put... ep 3 or pilot at the end and then cherub after that... ep 1 after that striker episode? I think.... loo loo land, queen bee, ep 6 and ep 7. About. (I know pilot is good... but to me only as pilot. )
5:12 after seeing more of Moxies story and re-watching season 1 before I watched the Finale I do have to say it made the episode better for me... 😂 R I -P- murder family, burn in hell

I'm still waiting for the D.O.R.K.S, the have the evidence of their existence
The pilot is No.1 in my heart! ❤
9:58 this comment makes a pretty good point. For all we know we could have a pretty dark and serious show, a middle ground show both light hearted and dark humored packed with some humor like a more serious helluva boss or we could end up just getting an episodic show like family guy or spongebob but in hell. Hopefully we get the first or second choice 👍
i love your videos
All of Stolas’s make me sad yet I still love all of it
oh god
I'm happy with this ranking. I'd put 1 and 2 there fr
Objectivity even the bad episodes in season 1 where better then season two’s bad episodes.
Will you rank season 2 episodes when that finishes just curious
I NEED a Verosika episode! I wanna know how did she becomes so popular where is she now mentally and maybe something about her childhood.🩷
I would like to see her as a kid would be so cute
I got into the hazbinverse after I watched matpats theory on hazbin hotel also I love Verosica's "personality"
for me personally
1. Ozzie's
2. Truth seekers
3, Queen Bee
4. Loo Loo Land
5. Harvest moon festival
6. Spring broken
7. C.H.E.R.U.B.S
8, Murder family
9. Pilot
Dude I actually couldn’t stop listening to Ozzie’s song with fizz it was just so good
This tierlist od Perfect
I don't know who Norman Reedus is, or what he voiced other than HB, but from what I've heard, he's pretty popular.
Truth seeker’s definitely has had the best action so far it’s the first time we get to see that the IMP is a killing machine together
This list is perfect
Spring Broken should’ve been just above the pilot
This is an actually decent tier list, only complaint is the ranking of loo loo land and my personal bias against queen bee and spring broken, but yeah, cool list.
Mrs mayberry:killed my husband feeling good
I could see this show going like Futurama, and in season four Octavia being all: "Didn't you used to go to the human world and kill people?"
My ranking of season 1
1. Loo loo land
2. Truth seekers
3. The harvest moon festival
4. Ozzie’s
5. Spring broken
6. Murder family
7. Pilot
8. Queen bee
9. Cherub
I feel like loo loo lane is like the perfect episode of what helluva boss is like you said. It was very enjoyable for me. ☺️
loved this video! :) heres my personal episode ranking:
9: cherubs
8: pilot
7: murder family
6: queen bee
5: spring broken
4: harvest moon festival
3: loo loo land
2: ozzies
1: truth seekers
The new season of disenchantment is finally here ❤😂
Yessssssssss I agree 💯💯💯💯💯 with your list Ozzie’s is the best episode I love that song so much
Andddd~ FIZZAROLLIS IN IT
Hm, fair and valid points and opinions, i can see where you’re coming from, i wonder how Season 2 will compare?
Also, Fun Fact: Martha’s Daughter ended up being my favorite character in the entire Show, somehow.
Absolutely rewatched the same episode a lot. It was by far the best, then seeing how Stolas was when asked
When I was watching episode 4 I was just really confused because I.M.P's job is murder the target. So why didn't they just kill the guy?
"That theres no bad episode ye-"
S2 EP5's Honest Reaction:
Yep so true, well I guess all the fandom hate that episode xD
1)This video was made before Unhappy Campers came out
2)He thinks Unhappy Campers is ok so to him, the "That theres no bad episode yet" statement still stands
cherubs is one of my favourites but it also lands at the bottom of the list for rating all of the episodes 😂 i thought it was hilarious and i quote parts from it ALL THE TIME.
In the video at (8:42), if you look at the computer, you can see Charlie from hazbin Hotel
I lost 16 hours of sleep waiting to see fizzaroli and azmodeus again 😪
That yellow fox reminds me on ninetails from Pokémon
Honestly I'm much more hyped for the next helluva boss episodes than hazbin hotel s1
14:08 Oh...OH!
I feel like harvest moon festival gets bonus points for me at least for having striker voiced by norman reedus.
My ranking i think would be
9. CHERUB
8. The pilot
7. Murder Family
6. Loo loo land
5 spring broken. Verosika gets introduced and human disguise loona gets introduced, also drunk moxxie are all great
4. harvest moon festival, norman reedus voicing striker, Millie's family and just striker in general make this episode great for me.
3. Queen Bee
2. Ozzie the songs and verosika in this episode... oh my! Its a great episode
1. Truth Seekers, the animation style changes the songs, the fight sequence, everything about this episode is just so good. That scene that gets used here with the close up of stolas with the two guns is just *chef's kiss*
4 and 3 could be swapped around depending on when you ask me as well as 3-1 not including the potential swap of 4 and 3
"Loo ^2 Land", amazing
title: best to worst
video: worst to best
7:29 and then in season 2 episode 4 they take away time from the main cast just to have a stupid B-plot that serves no purpose☠️
"Helluva Boss hasn't made any bad episodes yet."
C.H.E.R.U.B:
cherubs isnt that bad but definitely not good just average in general compared to other episodes
Congrats on the car!
About. (I know pilot is good... but to me only as pilot. )
Do helluva boss songs next cause omg the music is so good
To be honest season 2 has made me stop watching and forget how fantastic season 1 truly is
5:12 after seeing more of Moxies story and re-watching season 1 before I watched the Finale
I do have to say it made the episode better for me... 😂 R I -P- murder family, burn in hell
To be honest, if your gonna talk about something you should know about it, so I’m one of those thousand comments telling you that’s a Burst fire M16 military issue
i would agree with this list, but i would bring down spring broken below loo loo land and bring truth seekers above ozzies
My rankings.
9. C.H.E.R.U.B.S.
8. Murder Family
7. Harvest Moon
6. The Pilot
5. Spring Broken
4. Ozzie's
3. Loo Loo Land
2. Truth Seekers
1. Queen Bee
Best episode- OZZIE’S
Best character- Fizzarolli
Biggest trauma (probably)- Fizzarolli
Best song- House of Asmodeus
Oh yeah, fun fact I met the voice actor for Moxie today
wizard
As Satan intended indeed.
i 100% agree with u
