Since when has there been a dinosaur type monster in Superman? Superhero films being ruined with massively OTT CGI they might as well make cartoons. Spiderman has already turned into a kids only film. Seems Batman is the only one attempting to keep any form of gritty story telling that adults can enjoy as a more grown up superhero film. Superman has always been the number 1 superhero so I'm pretty appalled by what I've seen of the trailer. SMH.
@@marko9912 I'm disappointed to see you didn't enjoy the trailer, that's the thing with adaptations, fans look for and want different things. I think when it comes to DC it's important to have that balance of characters and movies that are a bit lighter and less violent and also on the other side just important to have those dark gritty in your face adaptations. Gunn has said he wants his Superman to be younger, optimistic and full of hope. Whereas his Batman will be older, wiser, skeptical and bitter. So when they eventually cross paths, they butt heads as their outlooks on life are completely different. As for the creature, it's an alien beast from another planet. Theyve featured in plenty of Superman animated properties
@@goosetalksfilm3411 We've seen it a hundred times already though, superheroes battling alien monsters so it's all very boring and over reliant on special effects. You said it's been in plenty of animated stories and like I said they may as well have made a cartoon Superman. I'll watch it but already know it's going to be nonsense. Man of Steel was a great film, once you abandon that style of Superman and change it to a ridiculous monster fighting Spiderman type kids film you've lost it. Dumbing Superman down to merge with Batman will then only ruin Batman as well and they'll all be kids films. Have the film makers al run out of original ideas that they're all now merging into the exact same storylines? I'm very annoyed because I'd expect a lot more from a Superman film. I've already accepted Spiderman is lost.
@marko9912 I highly disagree with dumbing it down. As I said in the video, this is a teaser trailer with no context only random scenes, hold out a bit longer for the full trailer next month. If alien monsters are part of Superman's lore, which they are, they have every right to continue using them. Just like masked or face painted gangsters/henchmen will always be apart of Batman. This Superman movie although looks lighter and less violent, doesn't mean it's a kids movie or cartoon. Not all comic book movies have to be grounded in realism like Nolan and Reeves. People want to see those goofy, out there comic book scenes and characters, of what's the point of doing them?
