Really good advice. I can’t believe this only got 30 likes and over 500 views! Come on how hard is it to hit the 👍? Also if the join as. member link was easier to find I would. Keep doing what you’re doing and I keep hitting that 👍.
Just throwing out something different can help. Caught one of my first steelhead with a pink worm by a hatchery. Didnt see anyone using worms so i figured I'd give it a try
Some good advice Alex, but you missed two of the most important: > Know what kind of water the fish like and fish it. 90% of the fish occupy 10% of the river. Understand where that is (seams, slots, flats etc....) > Practice to be able to hit your target when casting. You must have the skill to hit the spot where the fish are. 5
Fish eggs in December for what? Steelhead? You can fish eggs all year steelhead love eggs. The only reason o stray away from eggs in the winter is because steelhead like beads and jigs as well and I don’t have to get messy lol
People blaming RUclipsrs is the easy excuse to say why so many people in a certain area when in actuality it’s so many other factors. I think a factor is people being lazy to where they don’t change out presentations or colors. If that makes sense
Finally ! nice to see something different I think that’s what your channel need to grow
Appreciate that, I'm trying to make content that will make people better anglers

@@jackstewart1448 1000% I can’t believe I didn’t mention reading water. But glad you made the comment!
Should be titled “5 things you need to fish the westside of Wa/Or!!” It’s a completely different list over here on the eastside of those states!!
Not a bad point, I guess fishing over here my entire career I forget I have a following elsewhere! Thanks!

Me too lol
Can’t catch them if they aren’t there. #1 key to catching steelhead is steelhead being in the river
100% 💯
I was told a while back to stay at lower parts and fish eggs in Dec. I myself don’t have a lot of data points. Anybody?
