Ok you need to take Coda to a Puerto Vallarta Hotel that got a turtle 🥚 nursery and release program. Do a little research of the best time and how much you can do has guest. My understanding is August to December, we stayed at the Marriott and at the time if there’s enough then guess meet up and help release turtle on the beach. I’m sure she would love it based on today. Great vid. I want to swim with turtles.

I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade, but this place was formerly known as Cayman Turtle farm. The turtles are sold to restaurants for meat. Its a turtle meat farm where you can visit them. Like visiting a factory farm and petting the cows.
Please don’t take my word for it, look it up and there is plenty of information out there!
Please, if you love sea turtles do not support this organization by booking this excursion.
I just wanted to set them all free...

I love TURTLEs but would be too afraid to snorkel with them. Seeing Koda so happy and excited was very sweet. Glad you could do that for her. The rocks at Hell look very neat but yeah, not sure if I would ever go out of the way for them. A little boardwalk path that circles around would make a huge difference.

We had told our attendant at the start of the cruise we had just gotten engaged too. It was so sweet of her to do that!

Those turtles are so friendly!! We had no plans for Grand Cayman for our cruise next April but we might look into booking this excursion. Thank you for linking it! For a big group (8 adults) what do you think was better holistically: dolphins or turtles?
My family did this excursion. It wasn't offered by Disney but was easy enough to do on your own by just getting on a taxi & telling them to go to the Turtle Centre (bus pickup is by the Grand Cayman library - 5 min walk from the port). I've done the dolphin experience (in Cozumel) as well. The turtle experience was one of the highlights of our trip & also relatively affordable (especially in comparison to the dolphin experience). I felt like the focus of the Turtle Centre was much more focused on education/breeding than the dolphin experience which felt like a way to extract $ from my wallet & nothing more. For a larger group the choice is easy imo.
