See that’s the thing tho, it’s actually the MOST optimal. It does the most damage out of the supers and it isn’t a cinematic like the other 2 so it doesn’t use you far away. I don’t know why he said it was the weakest, that’s literally not true. The base damage and combo damage is higher than stardust fall and God Punisher. Go test it yourself and see.

Soul strike have another difference between the light and medium version : the medium version can combo into a assist while the light version can't (airborne)

They did a good job with Gogeta. You can immediately tell where all of his moves came from. It kinda sucks tho that he doesn’t have the one huge flip kick he used on Janemba. But we Gucci.. this man has 6 supers and beams for Ki blasts.

If your gonna use the recka kicks midscreen for a knockdown, end it with the medium kick, it causes the oppenent to bounce and allows you to land all his supers easily
Just a tip. if you already used your super dash , but you haven't used your smash, JH combos into the afterimage kamehameha which will give you a sliding knockdown. idunno why nobody does this lol
After Soul Strike, you can easily use Stardust Fall in mid-screen combos. It's much more difficult to hit it in the corner, though, but Soul Strike's medium is a lot easier to follow up with a super, so you can just use God Punisher or even a level 3.
Anyone else think he fits best as an anchor? I feel like they intentionally designed him to work best alone, true to character. He doesn't seem to need assists to do huge damage, has a ton of solo TODs and pretty decent mix-up, however you could probably just block him standing all day long without side-switching mix-ups.

i would love this game if i could get literally any special attack to come out consistently the timings in this game are so unforgiving makes it almost impossible for me and my brother to actually pick up, because we want to be doing these cool combos when its actually useful we have to do them depending on what attack we do leading to 50 different variants of a combo and with almost no time to think about it. its just constant drops and i dont really have 200 hours to put into each character, not to mention any move that requires you to go down and to a direction to activate seems to be so finicky that it almost always results in doing the wrong move. an example is constantly super dashing instead of doing an ult because the right trigger acts as both buttons making it difficult for us to care to play, not to mention the direction in which you have to activate these buttons changes depending on what side of the screen you are on making it even more complicated for no reason. i just picked up the game a week ago and idk if i just suck but i would love some advice to get my super attacks or special attacks to come out more consistently. oh and another struggle is for movement and defense it is much easier to use the depad but the depad has almost a zero precent chance to work when it comes to activating special moves making it necessary to switch between the depad and the analog stick during combos and general gameplay and seeing as how the timing is so unforgiving in this game to the point where a .1 second delay means dropping the entire combo this again makes it even harder to land combos when i have to switch between 2 different movement styles in the middle and again theres no time to spare between hits so this has to happen instantly as well as the follow up attacks which again are already finicky to get to come out leaving me practically unable to learn any combo strands. sorry for the shit grammar or if its hard to follow i just wanted to get everything out fast

Actually, the big bang kamehameha does more damage than the god punisher if you don't add the stardust breaker. You were wrong there.
You can do 2 Galick guns and kamehamehas in a corner combo.
You can combo off the grab with nothing if you just spam fast enough
You didnt mention air light is cancellable into different attacks.

It's team specific. With most teams, it's never worth using
