After being a fan of Gaga for almost 10 years, I really do get angry when people say she's untalented or a product of the industry, when she is LITERALLY the most hard working female pop star of our time.
Moments like this inspired Applause. She nearly broke her hip at the end of a year long tour, and backstage she was crying she was in so much pain. But she heard all her little monsters, and she realised that she lives to be there for the people who've supported her. She said about it in a commentary, "I heard them and I thought 'those little monsters are here for me, I'm going out there."
She has no broken hip in this video .... she walked off stage .... ask any doctor or anyone that has broken a hip ... she wouldn't be dancing and walking off stage ... would have been carried off . May have had a sprain or pulled muscles ... no broken hip ... And I am a huge fan !!

Also, I saw the same show a few nights before, and she didn’t scream like that. She also didn’t stay kneeling as long, or pound her fists on the floor like she was upset. So many people think that all of this was part of the act, but it wasn’t.

Also I'm 100% she didn't even break anything like some people are claiming, because you kinda need your legs to be in one piece in order to be able to walk or move them at all. I've broken my legs about 25 times, I should know.

idk how many people have said it already here but what makes this even more heart-breaking but inspiring at the same time is that, as she said, she was already in a lot of pain in the weeks BEFORE this happened, and she wasn't telling anybody that there was something wrong, she just kept going, until in the last few days before this, she was forced to go to the hospital to get it checked out. they told her she needed to rest, but she wanted to finish the entire tour first so she refused. and then THIS happened - this was just whatever was wrong FINALLY giving in, and she just kept going, and was crying about having to cancel the rest of the tour halfway through.

It's what makes this illness even worse; most of us are perfectionist, every day pushing our bodies and minds beyond its limits ... until we crash. I'm now in my 40's, disabled, stuck at home. The batteries die between 6 & 7 years of use. It’s so frustrating to not be able to do the things we want to. I was happy just to get downstairs and sit out on my porch this afternoon with the stray cats I feed. Gaga is such an inspiration to me too. I can’t imagine doing the things she does, knowing how much she’s really hurting. I felt the same way too about the pandemic - welcome to my life. Seriously, tho, take care and stay safe. I was there with my mom, when it happened and we saw her stay down me and my mom started asking people if she was ok, when we found out what happened we were so heart broken.
For those of you who don’t know, she was already in a lot of physical pain prior to this performance because she was on tour for a whole freaking year. But this is the performance where she literally tore her hip and was forced to cancel the remaining of the 20 shows.
I never know if I should cry or be happy everytime I watch this video. It makes me happy that she ended this tour giving her fans all she got, but It still makes me sad that it ended before it was said to. I love my warrior mother, and I will always love her.

I’ve got arthritis in my hip and I can definitely see telltale “my hip hurts” kinda movements, especially at the end. Like when you see her in a squat and she has to stand up and she hesitates for a second like “fuck me, here we go.” I’m so glad she healed (mostly). ❤️ for mother.

In second grade I was obsessed with this queen. My mom had got me tickets to her concert in Nashville. Then this happened. I didn’t quite understand what happened but my mom showed me this video and I was crying so much. The concert I was going to was cancelled along with the rest after that. Looking back years later, I’m still obsessed and I’m finally going to see her! I’m so happy.

I broke the left side of my pelvis and hip a few years back and have lived with excruciating hip pain ever since. Hip pain like that is BAD! idk how many people have said it already here but what makes this even more heart-breaking but inspiring at the same time is that, as she said, she was already in a lot of pain in the weeks BEFORE this happened, and she wasn't telling anybody that there was something wrong, she just kept going, until in the last few days before this, she was forced to go to the hospital to get it checked out. they told her she needed to rest, but she wanted to finish the entire tour first so she refused. and then THIS happened - this was just whatever was wrong FINALLY giving in, and she just kept going, and was crying about having to cancel the rest of the tour halfway through.
When she said, this is the last song, I bet she didn't realise it would actually be the last song of the whole tour :(

The batteries die between 6 & 7 years of use. It’s so frustrating to not be able to do the things we want to. I was happy just to get downstairs and sit out on my porch this afternoon with the stray cats I feed. Gaga is such an inspiration to me too. I can’t imagine doing the things she does, knowing how much she’s really hurting. I felt the same way too about the pandemic - welcome to my life. Seriously, tho, take care and stay safe. I was there with my mom, when it happened and we saw her stay down me and my mom started asking people if she was ok, when we found out what happened we were so heart broken.
For those of you who don’t know, she was already in a lot of physical pain prior to this performance because she was on tour for a whole freaking year. But this is the performance where she literally tore her hip and was forced to cancel the remaining of the 20 shows.
When she presses her face against the stage, you can just tell she's asking God to allow her to keep going, so sad...
I never know if I should cry or be happy everytime I watch this video. It makes me happy that she ended this tour giving her fans all she got, but It still makes me sad that it ended before it was said to. I love my warrior mother, and I will always love her.

I’ve got arthritis in my hip and I can definitely see telltale “my hip hurts” kinda movements, especially at the end. Like when you see her in a squat and she has to stand up and she hesitates for a second like “fuck me, here we go.”

In second grade I was obsessed with this queen. My mom had got me tickets to her concert in Nashville. Then this happened. I didn’t quite understand what happened but my mom showed me this video and I was crying so much. The concert I was going to was cancelled along with the rest after that. Looking back years later, I’m still obsessed and I’m finally going to see her! I’m so happy.
I have so much respect for her. She continued with the performance despite her hip injury. She really loves performing and her fans. ❤❤❤

The complicated strobe-light dance cause the tear the turn into a brake which is when she screamed. She pushed through it cause it was the last song and it was almost over. She ended up going to the hospital and they forced her to cancel the tour entirely because she had a hole in her hip the size of a quarter so they had to do surgery on it.

I broke the left side of my pelvis and hip a few years back and have lived with excruciating hip pain ever since. Hip pain like that is BAD! You can clearly see she is in pain here, but is so strong for pushing through. I couldn't even imagine doing moves like that let alone walking with a broken hip. Good god.
