The drive up North is fantastic. I live in Alberta, and Miami is about as far away as Fairbanks. You meet so many interesting people on the trip up; make sure to listen to the ones coming back. If someone says: “it’s only five hours out of your way” they’re telling the truth, and it’s still worth the detour.
the thing about being in nature in western canada is feeling just how small and insignifigant we are compared to tall tall trees and looming mountains. great trip guys.
These videos keep getting better and better each time. All of the locations look amazing but not as amazing as Matt's dancing and singing! keep up the good work!😁
Nope we never had any issues with it deflating on us and we pretty much only used it in cold waters. Back support was ok for both of us and for the price I think it was a great investment! Inflating/deflating was a quick and easy process too
Just absolutely stunning views! I love the animal shots esp the birds! The combination of mountains, lakes and all those glorious trees! I know I complimented you guys on the quality of your videos last time but GUYS! you are killing it! 👍🏻❤️
Matt is LOVING the wildlife out here. The bird with whatever it was in his mouth, he waited 20 minutes for lol. Thank you Linda, we really appreciate your comment. Only up from here!!
That was really beautiful scenery! So glad you're taking the time to see the parks and not hotfooting it thru Canada on your way to Alaska. P. S. Rust never sleeps. 😎
Great video! 1,000,000,000 miles is quite ambitious! What year do you anticipate completion? 😂😂😂After 4 years we are approaching 100,000 miles. Enjoy every mile
The miles will pile up quicker when we fly! We plan on taking some international trips. Depending on how fast we travel, I’m thinking 5 years. It’s gonna be fun!
There is a hill that you need to hike to see the best angle of Morraine Lake and the mountains, not sure if you missed it but you only showed the ground view of Moraine Lake.
First of all I’m convinced I need a blow up kayak now! I am in love with the Canadian Rockies and I wish I was going back right now! Not sure how I feel about the rust smell. Also emerald lake is insane right?! Idk if I liked that or Louise better
Can't to follow your adventures! We are in the middle of a Vancouver Island / Rockies series on our channel and then we are headed to the East, but I have always wanted to drive up to Alaska. Looking forward to more inspiration haha maybe we will be next!
05:29 - Johnston Lake- If you're going counter clockwise, I believe she is in the first wide open section of the hike, the trail DOES split off and I think you can just barely see it in the video. This split takes you to an upper section of the hike to give you a slightly elevated view of the lake which is really nice. This has 2 other benefits. There used to be a swing hanging (not sure if it's still there a few years ago) and this is one of the many locations that Parks Canada has placed those iconic red Adirondack chairs. 05:53 - You can see the elevated section from this shot. It only goes to the top of that embankment.
Pronunciation for Lake Minnewanka - wonka as in Willie Wonka I love following you. I live very close to Banff. It was fun to see you visit all the familiar places.
I have taken 3 trips to this area in the last 10 years (last time Aug 19), and it one of the most beautiful places in the world. We took a bunch of pictures at Lake Moraine the last time, it is amazing. The next part of your trip, Glacier Parkway will continue to be truly awesome. Love your videos and your take on the world. Thanks for doing this for all of us stuck at home for whatever reasons.
Hey Jim, thanks so much for watching! This part of the world truly is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been to. We’re glad to hear you’ve been able to visit multiple times! We’ll continue to keep making videos of our travels for ya 🤝
Hey, I was spending three weeks in Jasper and Banff while you were there. I got soaked in rain many times. Also saw one hell of a snow storm while up by Columbia Icefield. Loved all of it! Gave ya a subscribe :D
My wife and I are leaving Northern California this morning on our road trip to Alaska. We will be following your videos. Our goal is to make it to Prudhoe Bay then south to Homer. We are planning to be on the road for the next three months. Cheers!!!

I was just there last week and it’s beautiful!!!! I had a great time and the views were absolutely stunning! We went too Banff, Jasper, and Yoho National Park. Highly recommend!
We were there in June and it didn’t get hot there like what we’re used to in summer so it was nice to have layers especially at morning and night. It was probably highest of 65°F during the day
