I think these raw footages have lesser copyright issues (mainly credits towards the original owners/government bodies) than those shown & utilized in TV's or movies
but it was annoying that he had to show the clips over and over again, first talking over them, then showing them. Just show them, we know whats going on :)
I will absolutely NEVER get tired of seeing these. That shockwave is incredibly powerful, and you can literally see it warping the atmosphere around the blast. It just shoves the atmosphere like, BAM!!
That footage of the Krakatoa eruption was like the QUINTESSENTIAL image of a volcano you imagine when you think of one. That beautiful, lone, cone shaped mountain, lava erupting from the top like a geyser and flowing down the slopes in such a picturesque way as the smoke billows up into the sky. A Dangerous beauty. And the COLOR of the icelandic volcano, that lava looked like a GLOWING MAGENTA color, and against the cool greys of everything else, stunning!
I really appreciate the structure of the presentation: a concise explanation of what we are about to see helps with the understanding and adds to the interest. Thanks
Could you imagine how loud standing that close to Krakatoa would’ve been like? One that goes around the globe. Mind blowing what that shockwave would have looked like
I have always been fascinated by volcanos. If it wasn't for volcanos there would be no land on Earth; it would still be a ocean world. Watching this I get the urge to stick my finger down the vent, push my arm down and, far below the surface, take a handful of the Earth's living heart. Thank you so much for this astounding and gorgeous footage with no music!
I would love to feel the energy that volcano is producing around it. Just thunder and lighting storms give me tingly goosebumps from the energy they produce.
The lightning is from the static charges being build up by all the dust moving around if I remember correctly whenever you see lightning coming from the big plumes
Looking at the Krakatoa eruptions I can only see the frightening beauty of such an occurence. The lava spreading all over the hill like super size fireworks - nature is a beautiful thing...
It's caused by a mix of the static from all the friction of the debris being thrown about, as well as some chemical reactions from the different gasses mixing with each other and the atmosphere.
love your videos and really love how you let us listen to the eruptions! you should do another volcano eruptions video that focuses on central america’s volcanoes! i come from nicaragua, which is located in central america and oh boy, we have dormant, active, and extinct volcanoes that have been going on and off since the early times!
Beautiful, spectacular footage. I love how you get to see the initial explosion - the cork popping out of the bottle so to speak and the shockwave. Some of my favourite volcano videos are the ones documenting the progress of the Leilani Estates eruption in Hawaii in 2018 and the recent birth of the Geldingadalur volcano in Iceland.
i find it absolutely amazing that the sheer energy being expelled from these volcanos make their own lightening... i would love to travel to one an watch it erupt an film it.... amazing.. 😳😲😳😲😳😲😳 on a personal note.. love the way you let the clip play without music or talking after you set it up... very professional like and makes the clip exponentially interesting ... thx for your effort 😎👍
Muchas gracias por hablar con esta pausa y claridad. Se entiende perfectamente sin necesidad apenas de usar subtítulos. Me ha encantado el vídeo. Me suscribo.
Ahjah agreed volcanoes are really cool and beautifully big motor and volcanoes go KABOOM BOOM BOOM! The explosive eruptions sounds are amazing and booming awesome.🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋💜💜💜💜💜💜
This is the kind of stuff I could watch all day. We’re literally witnessing the earth reshaping itself, albeit at an extremely slow pace. But still, it shows us how truly powerless we are to our planet’s fury.
You have the best volcano site on the tube and the best voice to describe the content. Kudos for not including ridiculous music and other distractions. Ps, might be a bit late but the city in Sicily near Etna is Catania, not Catalina.
Watching that first one in slow mo at the very start of the eruption was cool. I like the ones with the lava pouring down the sides. I felt like I was standing near Mordor.
you forgot one important thing about Krakatoa, the original volcano vaporized itself during that mega eruption...the one that is there now had to start from underwater to get to where it is now but the Original Volcano completely obliterated itself during the 3rd blast of it 1883 mega show
I've always been fascinated by how the ash clouds of volcanos burst up and then just hang there, folding and rolling in on themselves. I should probably look up the properties of ash clouds, but I'm still just amazed at how they don't just instantly spread out onto everything in sight and block our view. I don't know why I expect to see a wider cloud dispersal, but I always do. Seeing the ash clouds form a pillar rather than fall onto the ground and then spread is always awesome to me.
Notice when zooming in on Sakurajima the bay the volcano is sitting in? That's the Aira caldera Sakurajima's parent, which feeds the volcano it's magma supply, the thing is Sakurajima erupts less than the refilling rate of the caldera, meaning some day, the caldera proper will erupt violently in its own right.
Imagine when the planet was bursting with volcanos, it's what helped it become what it is, the calm state of our planet, compared to early earth. The earth and life is a miracle on top of miracles. 🌎🙏
I lived in Sunnyside Washington when Mt. St. Helens went off the week before graduation from high school. The sun light hit the ash cloud at an angle that it looked like a rolling river of blood.
really great video! it’s amazing how you captured these incredible volcanic eruptions. i do wonder though if we sometimes romanticize such powerful natural events. while they’re fascinating to watch, the destruction they cause can be devastating for communities. what do you all think?
Nice goin'! Great video! Spectacular info and video of eruptions. Volcanoes are so powerful. They are are a force of nature that man has had to deal with since we climbed out of the trees and have taken millions of lives in the 200 thousand years of modern humankind.
Thanks for not over laying this video with music and letting us hear the volcanic eruptions.
That’s why this channel almost has 1 million subscribers
I think these raw footages have lesser copyright issues (mainly credits towards the original owners/government bodies) than those shown & utilized in TV's or movies
I agree! When I get on a channel that has loud, garish music or an obnoxious narrator I just click out and tell YT not to recommend that channel.
but it was annoying that he had to show the clips over and over again, first talking over them, then showing them. Just show them, we know whats going on :)

1:41 you can see it break the sound barrier it's so powerful....speechless.
I will absolutely NEVER get tired of seeing these. That shockwave is incredibly powerful, and you can literally see it warping the atmosphere around the blast. It just shoves the atmosphere like, BAM!!
I'd like to thank all the brave photographers who have allowed us to see mighty nature!!

Standing close would the last thing you would ever hear ;)
@@MrTrashmasterfx I wonder if sound at that level and that close could actually kill you
@@RCmaniac1231 yes, 190db will kill you. It’s the same principals at that point as being hit by a bomb shockwave.

Greetings from Iceland.....your pronunciation of Eyjafjallajökull is almost perfect, by far the best I have heard on RUclips!! Nice video, thanks.
Love the extended cuts, gives you time to really take in the power of these.

You release. Energy can't be created.
@@austinhernandez2716 so how did energy start
Can you imagine how much force would be required to spew a dense liquid that far into the sky?
The plumes of smoke are so mesmerising to watch, the colour is gorgeous.

It can be dangerous standing by because a huge hit rock might fall out the sky and hit you.
LOL the "sheer energy being expelled" isnt what is making the lightening.
Very Cool! #volcanoes

Ive reached a new level of stress where I find these videos very relaxing 😅
Yay first like and comment. Love volcano videos.
These videos are a masterpiece...
So amazing! 😳😳😳
Your pronunciation of 'Eyjafjallajökull' was actually quite reasonable. The 'eyjafjalla-' part was spot on
Great video, nicely edited!

Volcanoes; everything you love about huge explosions with none of the legal consequences!
Underworld do you have any video of how Krakatoa looks like now after the collapse or footage of the damage which the Tsunami caused ?

To add to your comment, the Aira Caldera magma chamber is so large, it also feeds the Mount Kirishima volcanic complex to the north.
