In addition to being a clothes addict, I'm a reseller. It amazes me how many people don't know their actual measurements. Everyone thinks they're one of the letter sizes, and they're not. I'm a medium or large in Carhartt, large extra large in Levi's along with most other basic brands, I'm a XXL-XXXXL in Japanese brands. The actual measurements matter, not the tag.
My point is that the fit is king. Learn your measurements and use the size chart provided by most good clothing companies.
