- This week I continue to work on Solomon Wayne inspired Court House.
After struggling to find some good images online, I reached out to Taylor (@pollittproductions) who kindly sent me all the images I needed to continue the build.
After a couple of attends of the roof section and making further amendments to the height of the building, I finally feel like I am getting the look that I am after.

Thank for the shout out! It was really impressive how you managed to capture the look of the roof, it looks so similar to the pictures I’ve sent through it’s scary 🤣 always happy to help if you need it again!
Thank you for all your help Taylor
(@pollittproductions) , I could never have got it looking as it did without those images that you sent through. You really have been a legend. They were priceless as will the ones that you sent of the interior. I will def be using the Oracle Tower picture that you sent me a while back as that building looks so good.
@@dubbzibrickscan’t wait to see it, it’s going to look absolutely awesome in your Gotham city!!!
Just keeps getting better. Courthouse looks fantastic, well done.
Thank you @davidfisher5507 🙏
Its so nice to see your Building style improve. I love Arkham City so great to see the court house in your city!
Love your Work Man, keep building 🔥
Thank you @juliusm6250 , I am hoping over time I will pick up new techniques and will then go back and improve past builds in one way or another. Can't wait to get Gotham all set up in the new LEGO room (when it is finally done). The vision for the city has changed so much from what I originally planned to what I have in mind now.
I’m loving both build series!!
Thanks @CK662, Thats good to hear 👍
Fantastic work! That clock tower looks amazing already. Can't wait for your next update!
Thank you @alfredrising3247 . I am loving the changed that have been made to the building.
Your courthouse is truly brilliant. I really like the technic roof technique and will take advantage of it in my future builds. The tower is excellent and fits nicely. Thanks Taylor for helping Dubbzi out, very cool. Most impressive bud.
Thank you, I’m just happy I could help Dubbzi, the real credit should go to his building skills!
@@pollittproductions I agree, Taylor. Dubbzi, thanks so much for the most impressive build I've seen so far this week.
Thanks Dion, Glad the technique will help. I am so pleased with the tower. Having the source material made building it so much easier.
You got an audible gasp with how well that roof came together. very well done, ive been in a creative slump and that was instant inspiration.
Thanks @GucciGengar. Thats good to hear. Good luck with the building.
@@dubbzibricks Just found my way to your discord, I'll post the wip a bit later. Big inspiration from this channel.
Great work man
Thank you @robertopaudice7825 🙏
I can't believe how many layers of plate you're using!
It was for the strength, first attempt it was too flimsy. When I get the tiles for the roof I should be able to remove the black plates. The first layer of plates was put on due to the technic beams that hold the roof in place protruding a fraction. This prevented me from just putting one layer on before the top layer.
Impressive work as usual !
Thank you @pacomemichaut7682, much appreciated.
Great update, love that you dedicating several videos to the one build. I also loved with help for the reference pictures, that you were able to recreate it so perfectly. Definitely excited for more. Keep up the great work.
Thanks @Lego-Man123, The pictures were so helpful for the build. Taylor has been amazing with the amount of images that he has sent throught. If has made the building easier having something to use for inspiration.
impressive as always !
Thank you @matthieudesormeau2169 🙏
👍 it is great work
Thank you, it is getting there.
Looks very very Good nice greetings from the Multiverse
Thanks @MultiverseOfBrickness , and greetings back to the Multiverse
Looks braw as always man
Thanks @frazergreen6786 🙏
Had to revise the roof so Batman would have a nice ledge to stand on. 😀
I am thinking a jumper plate needs to be added with a Batman fig on the top of the build.
Put a brick under the minifigure to make him taller
Thanks @TheRugghead, I will be putting a ledge above the door which will be raising the figure up slightly.
And again it looks more impressieve then last time. I love watching you build. Keep them coming!
How is the onpacking going? Any progress on the LEGO-room?
Thanks @madmax6220 , Thanks to the images I got this week I am so please with how the build is coming on.
Re the LEGO room, I am travelling back to the UK next week to collect some tools that I left on a job over there last year. As soon as I get back I will be constructing a shed to empty the contents of the garage into and then I will be starting the LEGO room one way or another. Hoping I will be having a builder into convert the garage, if not I will be knocking it down and making a wooden structure from scratch.
I don't want to be pedantic, but they're not gargoyles unless they're on the edges of the roof, because they're for making sure the rain doesn't just go straight off the roof, they funnel the water into specific directions. If they look like gargoyles but aren't for water, then they're grotesques. 👍
You learn something new every day 👍
I wish you had more time :D
Me too. Will get there eventually.
This looks great! Do you put full interiors in all your buildings?
Thank you @batmanluke123, I will be putting full interiors in the majority of the buildings. All of the named buildings will be having stories in them with the villains getting up to no good. So far Ace Chemicals and Arkham are probably 85% done, all the others are needing to be done.
