Most of the reddit communities carved out reasonable spaces, and a fair few streamers to be fair, it was just certain streamers who kept pushing their communities to go too far. Don't get me wrong, I get it wasn't that serious, and part of the fun where the battles going on, but it took some of the fun out of it when it was a massive steamer community wiping out the art of a small reddit one.

Why do people like Hasan? Everything I've seen of his is just depressing and not nearly as entertaining compared to other streamers of his size. Why is he popular?
