Great advice, I am in the process of transitioning from IT Desktop Support. I really want that CAPM and ITIL to move into more Management level jobs or roles. I like some of the Coursera courses, but they all seem designed for 6 months or more of material. I prefer a 4 to 8-week program and take the exam.

@Chitownsfinesthoops First, I would like to thank you for leaving a comment! Regarding your journey in making this transition from IT Desktop Support into project management, I truly think this is an amazing step. The CAPM is one of those exams that will prepare you to understand the foundational principles of project management. I would also recommend that you find a mentor/coach and build out a roadmap for your transition.

Im trying the bruit force method of just taking the full 3 hour 150 question practice test a couple of times a week. Its a freaking nightmare! Regurgitation of thinks read in a book is the exact opposite of how my mind works. Saying that I’m getting closer each time. They are going to the 7th edition on the 24th of July and I’m worried that a significant portion of then 6th edition studying i have done will be waisted due two however they change the PMBOK with the new addition.

@Benhuttash- First, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I definitely understand your concerns, but the time spent of PMBOK 6th will allow you to navigate PMBOK 7th a little bit better... I'm actually working on some content for PMBOK 7th... What would you like to know about PMBOK 7th and I will make a video for you?
