Neck Through Bass Build

I took the GoPro into the workshop in March 2021 to film this build. It's very much a custom build to a new design, but it looks to give a very brief insight into the build process, from raw woods to final finish.

Beautiful work! I like that you did most of it by hand planes. What size neck billet width did you start with? I'm only asking because I'm about to try my hand at my first neck thru build.

Thanks Joe. I can't be quite sure at this distance, but I think it would have been around 4". the company that I often source from here in the UK certainly supplies that size.
