With all respect sir, even though I am no expert, but training neck and tightness of jaw makes you lesser prone to a knock out. Learning clinch, liver shot and different ways to shift and throw bodyweight behind a punch also helps. Developing hand and eye coordination with proper leg movement and head movement also helps. Explosiveness exercises like clean variations, box squats, speed deadlift etc are beneficial besides the cardio. Also, conditioning by taking punches and even kicks to different areas where you can be hit in a boxing match. Imagine what you put yourself through while traing for the deadlift.
      Big fan.

@Grofor Octavio Armas Vega ignore Kane, not sure wtf he’s talking about...
These lifts were done with massive diameter plates and a short bar, so the athletes have a shorter distance to pull while starting at a higher point in the lift.
Eddie pulled 500kg from way closer to the ground, using standard plates. When you hear strongmen talk about levers, fulcrums, etc. they’re referring to exactly this factor, the distance covered. The short torso/long arm segment of the video was indicating that it is easier to lift big weights when your knuckles scrape the pavement while stood upright.

I love how he is like Thor is out training to get his head knocked off by myself. Eddie Hall needs to be in Movies!

Its pretty amazing to have a winner that didnt finish both the log press or the stones. Tom lost the title and gave it to Novikov with one small mistake. Congrats to Novikov, an amazing effort at 24 years of age.

Yes??? And Novikov was not mistaken in throwing the kegs when he began to waste time turning them over? Everyone is wrong somewhere, only Novikov is very young and next time, he will not make these mistakes, and what excuse will there be then?

That also caught my attention. You think the criteria would be to finish the event or take a harsher penalty if you don’t complete it.
