Nice design! Is this meant to be a retirement home? May I make some suggestions? With your permission, maybe consider ramps for wheelchairs, too, instead of stairs only? Is the entire interior - particularly the T&B - wheelchair-friendly, too? Do they have enough safety support for the elderly? The garden at the back appears to have ample space and looks very promising. With proper landscaping, we are probably looking forward to a very lush tropical garden. How do we maximize the use and appreciation of such a lovely garden? Maybe re-position the bedroom on the sides. Give each bedroom a balcony for the resident to enjoy their coffee or tea . . . in private. After which . . . (brace yourself) . . . KNOCK OFF THE ENTIRE BACK WALL and replace the same with folding or sliding glass doors! Provide a huge deck/terrace. Maybe include a trellis for some tropical flowers to climb on. A burst of Bougainville would provide color and shade. Let the residents enjoy "al fresco" dining! In the garden, provide shade trees and place tables and chairs underneath! Maybe some rocking chairs on the deck/terrace. Let the retirees enjoy nature! Again . . . this is meant to be a retirement home! Would the residents enjoy a resort type abode! If so, let the air flow naturally inside the house! Maybe - just maybe - some residents are mobility-challenged. Railings might be needed in some parts of the house - particularly the T&B. Let's make sure there is wheelchair access to the gardens, too. After working for so long, let the beauty and comfort of this house be part of their retirement benefits! The residents are retired with so much time on their hands (hmmmm - or perhaps very little time depending on their health condition). LOL! Thanks and all the best!

My Ma and Pa are in talks of relocating together with my brothers family in my Lolo’s vacant lot. I’ve shown this to my brother and he said this is perfect. I guess I can just sleep in the living room when I come visit. 😂

Nope, i prefer to have the kitchen remain in its place,, so different and i love it, especially when u serve the island as a breakfast nook... Architect we almost have same design of the house that i tried to design myself as my dream House, is just that mine is elevated. Once luck comes to me, i will contact u and ask u to make my design final.
