But now I understand, apparently you can get sued in Japan for faltering that person's image in anyway. And it doesn't matter if the evidence deems them a horrible person, they can still sue you and win.

its weird how torture and borderline attempted murder and r*pe are considered "bullying" just because its commited by minors and something bad has to happen for it to become "serious". i knew someone that immediatly sued another kids parents and won because their son stole his kids backpack and he also seeked criminal charges for the parents as guardians of the minor. the school and the kids parents tried to downplay it to "kids stuff" but he made well sure the kid knew that actions have consecuences.

The funny thing is that, at 5:13 the small girl that jumped the boy and started betting him put reminded me of the time at my primary school. I was the bullied kid by my whole class and the teachers turned a blind eye and I was scared to say anything to my parents because I know my dad would be worse then the devil and my so called "best friend" wasn't much help at all. So I endured it from the first year I came there and around 6th year I had enough. I just jumped a boy that was bulling me in the hallway infront of everyone and just grabbed his neck. I didn't put pressure on it( I didn't want to hurt him, I was just mad and didn't have the guts to yell) and the marks were there, nearly impossible to see... But oh the second I tried to defend myself everyone jumped the gun. So my so called friend reminded me of it for the next few years to make me a bad person and always denied my side of the story making the boy an angel while I was the devil, the boy and I have gotten along well in the next years and now I just stay quiet and record everything when someone tries to get under my skin. Lesson of the day: try to talk to an adult and if they decide to turn a blind eye, start to record everything and show it to your parents or principal. If that doesn't work warn them you are gonna report it to the police.
The cops ain't gonna do shit until blood is drawn or someone dies. It's best to do what you just did and end up transferring to another school if needs be. Nice words don't do jackshit in this world we're living in.
bullies typically do not care if you talk to adults. getting them in trouble only hurts the victim in the end because they target the victim who snitched more. and i see it as a cowards way out anyways. if you are bullied verbally, retort back. if you are bullied physically, fuck their shit up. if they attempt to murder you, give them scorched earth. what you did there was smart, standing up for yourself. you saw a threat, you got tired of dealing with such a threat, and you delt with it. the problem is when the adults ignore you, even if you have video evidence of the bullying, you don't need to go to the police. going to the police, going through the stress of a trial, being a witness, and all of that, thats not how you deal with threats in reality. bully gets out of jail and the first thing they do years later is come and kill you. the school/parents will simply tell the cops "the student is just being a complete butthead, ignore them." and the cops would take their word over yours. best way to deal with bullies is through violence. they are a threat to your mind, body and soul. ignoring them does nothing, and if theres 0 community support against bullying the only chance is through giving them hell. yes you'll get in trouble constantly for fighting in school, but the bullies don't care bout you getting into trouble constantly, they'll see it as you standing up for yourself and most of the time they won't give you hell for it.

I am glad that they were given their just deserts. Though on one hand retaliation in some cases far exceeded the initial attack. While on the other hand, that excessive level of retaliation will showcase to others just how bad an idea it would be to mess with them.

The funny thing is that, at 5:13 the small girl that jumped the boy and started betting him put reminded me of the time at my primary school. I was the bullied kid by my whole class and the teachers turned a blind eye and I was scared to say anything to my parents because I know my dad would be worse then the devil and my so called "best friend" wasn't much help at all.
So I endured it from the first year I came there and around 6th year I had enough. I just jumped a boy that was bulling me in the hallway infront of everyone and just grabbed his neck. I didn't put pressure on it( I didn't want to hurt him, I was just mad and didn't have the guts to yell) and the marks were there, nearly impossible to see... But oh the second I tried to defend myself everyone jumped the gun.
So my so called friend reminded me of it for the next few years to make me a bad person and always denied my side of the story making the boy an angel while I was the devil, the boy and I have gotten along well in the next years and now I just stay quiet and record everything when someone tries to get under my skin.
Lesson of the day: try to talk to an adult and if they decide to turn a blind eye, start to record everything and show it to your parents or principal. If that doesn't work warn them you are gonna report it to the police.
The cops ain't gonna do shit until blood is drawn or someone dies. It's best to do what you just did and end up transferring to another school if needs be. Nice words don't do jackshit in this world we're living in.
bullies typically do not care if you talk to adults. getting them in trouble only hurts the victim in the end because they target the victim who snitched more.
and i see it as a cowards way out anyways. if you are bullied verbally, retort back. if you are bullied physically, fuck their shit up. if they attempt to murder you, give them scorched earth.
what you did there was smart, standing up for yourself. you saw a threat, you got tired of dealing with such a threat, and you delt with it. the problem is when the adults ignore you, even if you have video evidence of the bullying, you don't need to go to the police. going to the police, going through the stress of a trial, being a witness, and all of that, thats not how you deal with threats in reality. bully gets out of jail and the first thing they do years later is come and kill you. the school/parents will simply tell the cops "the student is just being a complete butthead, ignore them." and the cops would take their word over yours.
best way to deal with bullies is through violence. they are a threat to your mind, body and soul. ignoring them does nothing, and if theres 0 community support against bullying the only chance is through giving them hell. yes you'll get in trouble constantly for fighting in school, but the bullies don't care bout you getting into trouble constantly, they'll see it as you standing up for yourself and most of the time they won't give you hell for it.

You are definitely way too soft for your own good. If that's true that so-called friend needs to be cut out of your life I don't care what you've gone through with them that is absolutely toxic behavior and those are the same friends that will leave you to rot when you're in a hard place.

I was a dumbass that gave to many chances, since I know their whole family and they basically told my parents when we were little that I am their only genuine friend and that they are not afraid for their kid to hang around(since they have asthma and are tooo overweight for their own health + plus I always called them out to walk around the city instead of sitting in coffee shops and drinking and eating).
I even have gotten a information from my parents that they asked for me to forgive them since they stopped being my friend for "not being normal enough".
Meh, life has been better without them, I am still good with their parents and siblings so eh, kinda a win.
