I understood them quite well but your mother was a bit more clear on some words.

Personalmente ritengo di aver capito la maggior parte del discorso (tranne l'ultimo argomento)....ritengo che tuo padre abbia parlato più liberamente mentre tua madre si sia "sforzata" di aiutarci...o almeno questa è la mia impressione....tu come sempre scandisci benissimo e ti si capisce infinitamente più facilmente....ma è chiaro che faccia parte della lezione.

I live in NW Italy and the weather is not so good. In winter it's often foggy and rainy. It's more or less like British one.

Hello Joe! It's almost midnight and I have just laugh out load many times thanks to your dad. Don't get me wrong: your mum is lovely! Such an nice lady with the prettiest smile ever! Cheerful and sweet. Such a sunshine. But your dad is just hilarious :) I mean: you see him with that gloomy facial expression and you think he must be quite of a displeasing guy. On the contrary he is sooo funny and hilarious with his jokes that you can't help being positively impressed. I am happy of having had the chance to be "introduced" to them and I wander where you guys are from. I am not good at understanding the provenience of British people from their accent but now I am curios :) Anyway I am sure their are pride of having such a smart youngest boy :) and you are grateful to have them both in your life. It has been an honor to met your parents. I think they are proud of you.
Their answers were.
1- The most difficult things to learning our and your language is because we speak so fast and the solution is making practise and listening.
2- Their reaction, when you moved to Italy , was very exciting because you thought you would be getting a lovely holiday and they weren't worried.
3- They love in Italy , your mum love when the sun risen and the shine all the day and your dad loves the primitivo and the wine in generally.
4- Your mum doesn'y think to live in Itali for full time because in the winter in Puglia , it's so quiet and her friends miss and the same things is for your father . Though he miss his english breakfast. He ate a bacon sandwich
5- We are often in hurry , as example when we drink a coffee, it's our culture . It's nice when you are in a sociable group talk with your friends.
6- They are both against with the brexit because , now, to get plane and travel in a country like in Italy is a little complicated.

ohhhhhhh I wished this video lasted for hours!!! please we need one more video with your parents, they are lovely, I love the english pronounciation so it was a pleasure listening to them and I also learnt new words such as "impinged upon";
Listening to your dad especially was stimulating as I had to focus more in order to keep up with his speech but in this way I also learnt more 👍 (the way he said primitivou, adorable, the english pronunciation sounds so refined)

Io vivo nel North Yorkshire, capisco che è un accento del sud Inghilterra che suona gradevole all'ascolto.
