I have been waiting for years for a band like this to form. And the talent on the stage is second to none. This is how true country music is played it reaches my soul thank you all so much. Can't wait for the next time you play.
Thanks so much, these are just great. Covid obviously had an effect, stopping these jams for a good while, and unfortunately I didn't make one earlier last year. Hoping for another event this year. I am not actually playing here, just taking the video. I do play, but some of these guys are intimidating with respect to their skills! I am going to be brave and play next time.
So love country music and metal. I'm here because the amp I'm working is also for these steel guitars and now I'm wondering what one would sound like through a heavy rat pedal..... Guess I'll search for a video.
Note to the players: the lower neck isn't an arm rest. Some C6 would have been really appreciated here. And kudos to the Dobro player for thinking outside the box. BTW, I'm not taking anything away from the talent here; they all play better than I can. I just get annoyed when the potential of the C6 neck is ignored in favor of the same, tired E9 licks, no matter how well-played they may be.
4:52 Dave is cheating. Three finger picks! Seriously though, that's actually a pretty awesome sound. I wonder why it's not more common. Oh, then the kid with the long dreds at 7:40 also, and maybe others I missed. That's what I want to learn.

Wow. I loved this. I've never seen a steel guitar jam. Great instrument and great players!👏👏👏😎😎😎👍👍👍
It’s a damn shame there isn’t more of this type of pedal steel promoted commercially. This is killer country music. Very impressive, nice 👍
100% Agree!
Yes the guy in the SF baseball cap playing the Emmons was darn good!
That's Duane Becker from Elk Washington. One of the premier Pedal Steel players in the P.N.W.
@@jarnold9780 I liked his playing the best.
Totally agree! He really made that steel guitar sing. Love his playing.
I’m in Heaven! And, I vote for Bob with the grey hair! Even though each player was unique with their own beauty!
Yes, at 1:57. He had some sweet chords, didn't he. And I agree, they are all great.
All seasoned players. This was really nice, I enjoyed it very much.

What a joy to watch so many players in one setting. I wonder what the song title is.
Paul this reminds me of an old Ernest Tubb song "Hello trouble welcome in"

Bob got my vote!
