As a fan of both I personally think the ghostwriter accusations about Drake are overblown, Drake can rap. I lived by two guys who wrote for Nikki Minaj and that song was a number one hit, I think that was just what they were doing at the time trying to maximize profits you got to understand you don't have much time if your touring doing tv shows etc. Micheal had Quincy, everyone has had someone they collaborate with in some way. However, I feel like lyrically Drake is not on the same level as Kendrick and his pride got in the way. He definitely got too confident and is now being backed in a corner, lets be honest most of these rappers have been making trash music and Drake has been carrying rap through the amount of content he has put out, nobody can say that Drake doesn't make good music even Kendrick admitted he liked "Back 2 Back". I also feel like Kendrick is doing right by going at Drake over AI Pac that was weak, its all fair game in a rap battle. I hope that people can still be fans of both at the end of the day this is entertainment, they are still people. Things can get personal but we don't have to have this turn into anything other than a lyrical war. Drake will still be on the playlist and Kendrick will still be on the playlist.
I don't listen to Drake or Kendrick, but heard the battle. Kendrick is an emcee. It's just funny to me when people say stuff like: "If Pac or Big were alive, most of these rappers wouldn't be rapping". Rakim, Kool G Rap, LL Cool J, KRS-ONE, Diamond D, and a host of emcees are still around, and that didn't stop anything.
that was drake and the narcissism. Idk what the hell he was thinkin even tryin to use Tupac against a west coast artist. Idk who gave him that idea or why he thought that was a good move but nah bruh.
It's crazy how what Drake did basically back-fired on him. He really thought he did something with the AI voices and then everyone said they don't fuck with it lmao.
Not only was Pac a rider for his placement he was a lyrist something that Drake don't nothing about, he would have been a fan of Kendrick because like him he was for the people, he was for the culture.
I feel so fortunate to have witnessed Tupac career in real time. Knowing Tupacs heart I feel he would have dissed both Kendrick and Drake if he was hear Drake would not even exist in the rap game

Drake needs to give Pac's ring to Mopreme, he isn't even worthy of polishing it𓋹🖤𓋹
I agree
@@MelanatedBeauty42 that fake Canadian wasn’t even a pac fan he said it on the song “Fear”
@@thomasanderson468 Right! Drake was only 5 years old when Pac dropped his 1st album 2Pacalypse Now & 9 years old when he died. Him being raised in Toronto I highly doubt he was around anybody that was listening to Pac for him to truly be a fan.
Same...
I was suggested here while listening to the song “Ish - Major Leagues” 😮😮
That's exactly what I'm saying..
PAC would of went after everybody period!!
Even in his 50's, setting these fools straight!!!
Off the strength of Pac being for the culture, for black people, he would've rode with Kdot
The G ain’t in ya!! 😅 Respect to MC Eiht tho. Certified legend 🏆
Was just thinking about that song!!! 😂😂
Drake pushed the button but didn't know that it would kill his career. 2:40 Eiht is underselling here. Pac would have slapped and piss on Drake on record and in person.
Pac was a softy in reality, he has a ballet and acting background. He would be best friends with Drake.
@@dee27206 Tupac wasn’t no softy and he damn sure wouldn’t be friend with no wanna mixed raced half white drake
@@dee27206
2Pac shot two off-duty cops that were white to aid a black man he didn't know because they were harassing him. 2Pac had heart and wasn't a phony. Y'all are squares to the life so stop acting. This is what's wrong with rap these days. You got nerds from the suburbs speaking on Hip-Hop/our culture
@@dee27206 Pac was not soft cut it out, dude was just multifaceted and good at everything lol.
I just wanna hear my man say jyeeeaaaahhh 😂 I was fucking with MC Eiht before the menace 2 society made him more known. SSC was my shit. Im glad to see him well and still killing it. 👍🏼
Thank you Eiht for this
This battle with Drake and kendrick Is entertaining
Snoop needs to clear the air. They weren't his words either so Dogg let em know how you feel!
He definitely side with drake
You have an amazing grasp for the obvious.
Snoop doesn’t care.
Drake creates AI lyrics of Snoop and he doesn't care? Guess his brain is fried or he is ok with Drake putting words in his mouth. Weird he would chose Drake since Snoop claimed to have "crowned" Kendrick after Control.
@@candlercando Snoop crowned Kendrick before his control verse. Like i said earlier, Snoop doesn’t care, if you’re bothered with that, maybe you should check if your brain is fried from secondary smoke.
Always good to see eiht cuz he gone keep it 100
It wasn’t because of deathrow he claimed west coast it’s him growing up in the concrete jungle and learning the game in Oakland .true he was born in new York but he is from the west coast way before deathrow💯
Can we acknowledge how good Mc Eiht looks.
Growing up in the hood yeah boy 1984
Was the year my peers didn’t know what was in store 😎!!!
WHO GOT SNAPS ON THE PETRO????
Iconic
I wonder how new york would have felt, if drake used a B.I.G AI..
It was done in an artful way. He made it obvious it was him and not snoop.
When you are good at your craft, you are supposed to think you are the greatest. It’s called confidence. Nothing wrong feeling and thinking you are one of the greats
Nobody thought it was cool to use Tupac’s voice. Nobody
He used his voice but used his own rhyme pattern to get the point across. Let artists be creative. Now if he would have did it to try to fool people that might be different. But that wasn’t down.
@@absolute7250 nah fam. A Canadian using Tupacs sound shows you he has no respect.. that ain’t creative fam that’s corny
@@The_North_Star he didn’t use Tupac’s sound for himself. He used a depiction of the west coast legends snoop and pac to flush Kendrick out by taunting him. Which is creative. He didn’t use it to try to make it his. Y’all It’s no different from ice cube using an easy e look alike in his video when he was dissing easy e. Or them using a dr Dre look alike. Or pac using a biggie look alike. Instead of visual it’s audio sound a like. Which makes it creative.
@@absolute7250 No honey using a look alike is very different than using AI to simulate a rappers voice. Those are two completely different thing, and you seem to misunderstand creativity as you seem to label anything as "they thought about it therefore it is creative" No it was lazy and disrespectful.
@@crispri3919 I’m a little older. I’m not from this sensitive generation. I can’t relate. And excuse him for being disrespectful in a “diss” song. And yes it is the same. You are acting or portraying a character to mock your opponent.
1:53 Good ass question right there. I’ve wondered the same before. Shouts to the journalism. 💯
If you think Kendrick killed Drake, Pac would’ve absolutely obliterated him.
Dmx would've obliterated pac
@@KeefeDAndersondmx wouldn't hold a candle to Pac.
@@MultiKadafi dmx wouldn't hold back from pac
He's right.
Rap died September 13 1996.
#tupac4life
Drake has a nice house, nice car but he doesn't have any bars lmao 😂🤣😂🤣 SMH
That initial reaction, that smile said it all. We could have stopped the video right there.
I miss the hyped mc eiht. 😅 This ain't A Wax
A Wax has been retired from the game fam, he chillin in his courtyard of an assisted living facility somewhere in Compton🤣🤣🤣
Tupac was born on the east coast but his heart, love, and loyalty was the best side…west side.
Drake is clever but not intelligent
I'm noticing that alot of OGs are not coming to drakes aid or bailing him out. Birdman, Wayne and J. Prince are all letting him do this solo dolo. He's own his own at this point
Young Pac would have socked Drake in his face if this took place in his younger days. Drake would have said the wrong thing and would have been made to answer for it.
2Pac would knock Drake in his face
2Pac would side with DJ Quik over You
😂
N neither of them would side witchu
Tupac was nothing but a meat rider
What a weirdo statement
Damn that’s crazyyyyy!! Hahaha
I better NOT hear 2Pac and Drake comparisons because they are NOTHING alike.
Using PAC Ai wasn’t cool but you can put words in his mouth?
Exactly. These people swear they can speak for dead folks.
Right!! Eiht so full of shit!
Stfu he made a statement based off who we all knew Tupac was.
@@GoddeKnowsYeah we all knew Pac was feminine and tried to act like a gangsta lol
@@bilalrashad6636ok girl
I think PAC would’ve just sat back and enjoyed the show without a horse in the race but that’s just me.
Drake had no business using 2pac ai was bogus 2 me
1:56 I'll answer that straight up for Eiht, hell no! The biracial Canadian Jewish kid raised by his White mother in Canada that accused Rick Ross of being racist. That incident let a lot of people know who Drake really is in his personal life. He don't identify as Black outside of rapping. Pac would've had a HUGE issue with that!
Y’all in here swearing u know what a dead man would do lol
Pac was loyal to hip hop and the code. His pen was all him, and his style was poetic like Dot. That alone lets me kno who he would respect and side with beyond being WC.
I don't know...but ima still pretend like I do. One of us in here gotta be right. 🤣🤣
Come on, do you really think pac would mess with a canadian jew over k dot? Especially a nigga that don;t write all of his lyrics and has ghostwriters, also the allegations of him messing with minors? Pac would want nothin to do with that nigga lol
@@jayjayjay021 😂😂😂bro I fw you. Authentic answer. Bro above u answered like a bot
@@y_u_drawn1845 Hahaha True damn story. I swear people be out here all saying the same exact thing they read from somewhere else. We're surrounded by Parrots. Lol
All of hip hop would have rejected drake in the 90s let's be honest.
Tupac best friend was light skinned Kadafi 😂 don’t be so sure … Tupac would have taken no side he loved everyone unless u play with him
Pac didn't care about color !!! You sound dumb goofy. drake just not the kinda guy pac would fool wit even if drake was black as akon 😅
Tupac didnt pick friends based on skin tones dude !
I only imagine how would PAC curse out Drake knowing he sampled his voice
Idk who gave him that idea or why he thought that was a good move but nah bruh.
if pac was still here now,
he would never fuck with drake,
la la la la la la la la
I knew Kendrick would win this Battle Look who was his Influences Pac Dre Eminem
No lies detected 💯💯💯💯💯💯
"This supposed to be a good exhibition within the game" - oklama
That's what we all wanted, but Drake's ego is why we are here.
If Drake was more tapped in with Hiphop culture in general he would’ve known that was a tasteless move.
"You Git me?" STOP!
McEiht knows what’s up! Kendrick 🤟🏽
Keeping it C40 cuz Your a legend MC EIHT Straight Menace 💯 & 2pac written he's own rhymes 💯💯💯💯 drake do not 😅
It's crazy how what Drake did basically back-fired on him. He really thought he did something with the AI voices and then everyone said they don't fuck with it lmao.
LL 2 - Pac ‼️👑🦍🐐💔🕊️👼🏿
Not only was Pac a rider for his placement he was a lyrist something that Drake don't nothing about, he would have been a fan of Kendrick because like him he was for the people, he was for the culture.
Drake don't even belong in the same sentence as Tupac. In 50yrs Pac will be remembered still.... not Drake
If Pac was alive we prolly would say r.i.p when we see drake picture somewhere
The Bay Area too!
As Pro Black as Tupac was, he wouldn't be cool
With drake at all!
If Drake would have just cleared the song with the estate that misstep would have happened...
Our guy was our protector from the drakes of that industry 🤷🏾♂️
He is such a cornball that he really thought that was slick 🤦🏽♂️
Lol 😂Eigt stumbling over 🤣 the question 🤦🏾♀️😫
I feel so fortunate to have witnessed Tupac career in real time. Knowing Tupacs heart
I feel he would have dissed both Kendrick and Drake if he was hear Drake would not even exist in the rap game
It’s simple. We all have relatives. If my family member DIES and then some person we don’t know or associate with uses their likeness for their gain I’d have a problem with it. It’s distasteful and disrespectful.
He already got disqualified just for using ai in a battle rap anyways. Not accepted in the world of battle rap
