I wasn't entirely sure how it worked at the time of recording, but it works because of a glitch causing the character to very slowly slide to the right, even through collision. To trigger this requires large amounts of airtime in the current play session, dependant on how far to the right in the room you need to slide. This room is unfortunately extremely wide so the required amount of airtime makes it too slow to use in runs
At first it was the O button glitch in the original game now it's the cooldown ability bug
