- It's Blues Rock Shuffle Time! Had some free Saturdays, played some sweet A100 Hammond and picked up the good old Eric Johnson Strat and this came rolling out.
Want to learn sweet Blues guitar? Matthijs Hage (my teacher) can help you with anything!

As a 64 year old B3 player, it's nice to see a young cat playing the Hammond 😎
Thanks!
I've just had a delicious musical meal and don't need dinner anymore. Thanks.
The Hammond automatically makes the player play better. I started to play keyboards at 15 (santana, deep purple etc) and I was considered a B-Class player, but once I sterted playing a Hammond by "accident" (it was in a club), I was "promoted" to A-Class player. I'm 60 and I still swear on the C3
Yes...indeed it is.🤔
@@jwelsje Yeh...because the sound of a Hammond makes you want to rock out more.
some of the most soulful shit I have heard in a long time. B3 is killer !!
Thanks!
Fantastic ! this is just how Blues should sound like ! late '60s feeling.
Ahh yeahh Thanks!
Да, 60 х неплохо. Хотя B3 звучит лучше всех.
Back in 1970, worked in the office of a Hammond Organ store where all the sales guys use to jam with each other when the store wasn't busy. Didn't understand how those guys could play those things so brilliantly as there wasn't piece of musical skills in my body. Oh, how I wished to have their talent at the time. Even today, I'm totally amazed at the skill of great keyboard musicians
Cool!
Janis joplin times love it
Same here
Would have been nice if you video'd it on your Cell phone.
@@SjoerdHammondSolo? You Sir, are an amazing talent.
All the best to you. That's exactly what you gave to us.
Ray Manzarek is smiling down from heaven on you!!
... together with Jon Lord
The three of you sound fantastic together. I hope I can get the opportunity to see the trio live someday.
I think it is the same guy, so that will probably not happen 🙂
Hallelujah, this cat has the mojo, brilliantly plays all that vintage gear.. ✌
6.34 minutes of pure happiness !!!
Thank you!
DUDE took that B3 to church and home again! Brilliant.
Don’t know how you Play all those instruments and set up all the split screens so flawlessly but you do!
Great job!
Just a musician with a background in IT :D
This is the effect the music should have
And the parents are happy they had 3 gifted identical twins that could rock the audience. 😎🥰🎸🎹🥁

I'm so in love with this amazing mix you did❤❤❤❤. the Hammond B3 OMG! I too play Drums Bass,Keys and guitar. Sax. violyn, sing do it all just like you love❤❤❤ My name is Dana Ranglin. Riddim was fyah bro. Rasta Love❤💛💚❤💛💚❤💛💚❤💛💚🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 We still use the B3 in reggae just like Bob did in the 60s 70s and 80.81.. I use a Hammond X5 with my Ventilator 2 breaths life in my Beast of a Spinet organ. not quite a B3 but Related and somehow close. my X5 is a 1973 model..
How is that possible? Such great talent!
Love, love, love the Hammond B3. For me, it all started with Felix Cavaliere of the Rascals. It just moves you!

If you've ever heard of the song "Let's Straighten it Out" by Bronk and Sven Zetterberg. I'll bet you can add some killer organ licks to this song. Great Vid! Keep it coming!!

Great channel! Subbed 👍🏼
Thanks!
lkkr Sjoerd!
Ouh yeah
When I close my eyes I hear Danny Gatton and Joey D 😊
Nice. Dig that crazy lawsuit J-Bass with the truss rod cover. You need to mix the kick a little quieter.
i hear SRV influence.....good.
Reminds me of something that would play in the bg of Rising Storm 2 lmao
🔥🔥🔥🔥💥☠️🎶🎵🎸💛
Sinceri complimenti!!!!!!!!!! (Italy)
So what is the signal chain for the A100? I see you have a Trek II line out going into two effects boxes and then into a Focusrite Scarlett. But how does the Leslie (mic'ed) enter the signal chain? And at the end of the video the stomp boxes and Focusrite are gone. Thanks.
Awesome my man as always. Like the one man band, speaking of bands where have the other "tall" dudes been? Do you do all the post production stuff yourself, probably. Thanks for the free concert, love your stuff but you know that.
Thanks! Yes I do everything myself. The other guys are fine, we practice now and then while all concert are cancelled
To hell with cowbell, Blue Oyster Cult needed more Hammond!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
U have "The Fever"!
Totally awesome playing and tone! Would you mind please sharing some of the drawbar settings you are using? Thanks 🙂
Hey thanks. sure. For this song it's mostly 88880001, and for the soft parts 80000008. Adide from that but not in this video i'd use 88840006 with 3rd percussion on fast/soft. Turn off percussion to engage the last drawbar when building up solo's. I do that a lot
@@SjoerdHammond Thanks so much, I'll have fun trying those out. I was playing the video yesterday and my one year daughter was bopping away and clapping to it - maybe there is hope the Hammond will launch a comeback!
Hey Sjoerd, are you planning another tune soon? I hope so - I've learnt loads from this one especially! It'd be awesome if you did a slow minor / jazzy blues to see what organ chords and licks you might use. Anyway hope you are keeping well, cheers!
Can anyone tell me what is the drawbars positions?
This should've made blues brothers
✊😁
