hi good day, well I will not recommend you to do it, Honestly! since been a while I didn't use it at all brother, its seams risky as the drone temp goes up while in air! so i already has been disposed off the battery as it can caused fire the drone if the temperatures' shoots.
In my case the smel was at initial, but during flight the temp is higher than the normal standard battery and drain quickly with passage of time uses, so I use this battery for only first 5mnts if I have to take instant footage or video within 100 mtr range only!!
Ohh sad to heard about that, but my advice even my battery is not suitable to use in drone but to use as backup charger only!! As temp of battery goes over while using in drone, so i stopped using it!!

I did that. but the smel, of the fume is so toxic. it also dissolves the tape adhesive and label marki gs on the battery.
