Let me know if you guys want to see more of these people featured in this vid! I am going to try to get out another vid by this weekend🏁 Have a nice day!
I was around in the 60's...You and your friends are spot on!!! We didn't have much money,.Never enough for a good paint job. All $$ went into engines , trans and other go fast parts!! We thought we might paint our cars when we were finished with all of our mods...But as you will learn, you are never finished. Haha...Cool vibe keep it up..
You can never have too much Centerline!!! My 76 Stingray, my 54 Bel Air HT, my 39 Ford Standard Coupe, and my 94 short wide Chevy all roll the line!!! Keep Rocking it out!!!
@@FourSpeedFilms No problem, check out some of my videos if you like!!! Got a Vette, Old Chevy trucks, Monte Carlo's, a 54 Bel Air HT and a 39 Ford Standard Coupe!!! Some further along than others!!! Even an old Ford Tractor and a 1930s house!!! Got a lot of projects going that you might enjoy including some art work from time to time!!! Keep Rocking it out!!!
Takes me back to my Uncle's 70 Trans Am.. besides liking cars as a kid, before 8.. my Uncle Chris is why I love Cars and always will.. keep it Coming.. thanks
@Carly Baerg, my dad actually was the one who allowed me to buy my '68 Camaro SS, long, long ago! The only time mom got pissed was when I started it with the open headers way down in the shop... 1320 feet away! Total sleeper. Left the rusted wheel wells and put ALL of my money under the hood. Very much fun and 'profit' in those days of the actual street racing {1978-1980}. Peace all!
So glad to see there are still young people into these old style muscle cars. Reminds me of my buddies and I in the mid 70's early 80's cruzing Van Nuys Blvd.
best one so far.... really enjoying the old cool rides really reminds me of when i was younger & poor.......... we were working on farm's & buying & criving ragged out ol farm truck's or old pinto wagon's or big ol full size wagon's....... fun stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is such an epic collection of great cars. It's good to see people take pride in their rides, whatever the condition, and share their plans and schemes. In my opinion, true hot rodding is all about the comradery and personalization. Please keep the great vids coming.
You guys did great finding these cars in your time. So much fun building them. Try to keep meeting there is good energy going. Keep filming maybe on your builds and keep meeting up.This can be a really cool show. Hanging out is great. Now making a show. Win win Ha ha. money for the builds. ;- )
You guys are so so lucky to have these "rat mobiles" available to you.... im in the uk and we never really had such an era and whilst we do have access to some awesome motors, its not so with just random beater muscle or such like... the closest i got to this is owning a "built not bought" e30 tourer bmw with alpina engine.... besides.... fuel is over £1.35 a litre so this would be impossible for us.... (looks like im stuck with my 90bhp 1.6 turbo diesal peugoet 207)... so enjoy it! (Lucky SOB's)
Why do you GOT to put a LS in it ? You can make Power with a Pontiac Engine, and this is coming from a Ford Guy. I'm just so tired of all these LS Swaps.
with an LS you can easily make 500+ with little effort, they love boost(6 bolt mains) you can pick up heads for next to nothing.a lot of Pontiac's have oil starvation issues and burn out main bearings really fucking easily, parts are rare and expensive.just be happy the car is still alive,we would all prefer a nice 400 ram air 3 or a built 455 setup like a superduty but they cost a fortune and can fuck up really easily.
Yeah.....I agree, the thing about these LS motors are that they are cheap and make reasonable horsepower,...but do the work and build a Pontiac for a Pontiac, but then, the LS is the easy way out....what is with this? ...this coming from a Mopar hemi guy, the upper echelon...
@Tee pom Not only that, if the owner is considering the value of the car...the correct engine will yield a much higher value factor... Same in someways is to take an original 440 out of a 68 R/T Charger and putting a gen 3 hemi in it. Works real well, but again, I'm not really on board with that...
Me too man as soon as I heard LS I was like yeah gotta follow everyone else She should look for a 455 or a sweet 400 Pontiac and leave the LS for someone else that loves to follow
@@trillrifaxegrindor4411 I've had many 400/455 Pontiac engines and never had a oiling issue with mine and never burned out main bearings easily and I drove my stuff hard the 455 I have now was rebuilt over 5 years ago and still running strong.
Badass . You guys bring so much joy to this older dude , seeing you guys enjoying the joys of badass muscle cars is awesome. And I’m learning from you guys about some great upgrades . 👍
So great to see young people into American iron. Reminds me of being young in the 70's, working on our daily drivers with little money but lots of hope and ambition. Learning by trial and error. I guess the big difference is I had to wait for my monthly subscription of Hot Rod, car Craft and Rod & Custom to arrive to learn stuff. Now, they just look it up on the internet! Would like to see more of them and their progress. The girl has big plans for the Firebird and will be interesting to see if they come to fruition. My only complaint is the way she talks. Does she ever make a statement or is everything she says a question? :) Get some self confidence girl and say something like you mean it, not like you're asking approval of the person you're talking to!
That looks like my High School Auto Shop parking lot circa 1982 Bought my ‘69 Nova SS when I was 16, in 1979. Kept it almost 30 years Good job, keeping the groove alive. You guys Rock😎👍
I'm amazed you guys got together! I been following guys on IG but I never thought you guys would get to know each other. It's cool you guys did! Keep those vids coming!
My Grandpa had a 70s Mustang fastback as a teen. My other Grandpa have a 60's Mustang as a teen. My dad had an 80's box chevy as a teen. My uncle had a 70's roadrunner as a teen. My mom had a 84 IROC Camaro as a teen. And now I have a 86 Camaro as a teen. And hopefully my future kids will have classic cars too.
Man they got those Mad Max type cars! I love it!!! Being from Texas these cars wouldn't pass state inspection that's what keeps me from getting a old school project it cost way to much money to get it inspection ready
Much better than any of the import meets. People just aren't lively at all or talk to each other and the cars aren't as interesting. I was the only one with a classic besides this guy with a lifted 70s truck. Classic meets and shows all the way! We people with real money, real enthusiasm and taste! And talk about our cars and eating a 🍔!! Never lifeless and empty
The LS1 has a bore and stroke similar to the LS1. Also, one of the benefits of the LS is the large crankcase (due to its deep skirt) that reduces pumping losses as the pistons move. And the Pontiac block also has a large crankcase. So with a good head design, that Pontiac can be a poorman's LS1. I know a lot don't like the Pontiac 350, but you can get a stroker kit to make a 383, and it will make torque that is what you really want on the dragstrip. low rpms, low wear, and consistency.
Cool shit guys!!! I can't believe your whole street in front of your house isn't covered with rubber, like mine was, lol! Loving it! Nothing is hotter to me than women who love muscle cars and turn a wrench too! Great to have a cool bunch of buddys with cool cars!!! Reminds me of when I was a kid in the 80s doing the same thing, great fun and times! Thanks alot! ▪☆☆☆▪
Allow the loudest car to be at the end of the convoy. When they are first, they get the attention of the po-po, but they've already past, so Officer Friendly grabs the "back door". Centerlines are nice, they just don't let air flow to the brakes like a spoked rim will. But back in the late 70's when the slotted mag was OEM material, they were a go-to after the Cragar SS.
Must have cool neighbours like mine. They put up with open headers, straight pipe Harleys and the occasional explosion. Older guys love the biker girls coming around.😜
