My daughter is running my s20 note ultra 5g and still rather's it over my s24 ultra... but still I don't blame her I like it better than my note s24 ultra.
Why? Waste of an upgrade who in their right mind upgrades their phone every year? I have a galaxy note 20 ultra 5g this phone is something I should upgrade too.
I also find it (So Unfair) is that their gonna launch the S25 in January 2025 and when they should've (Launched the Very First Samsung phone in January 2010 instead of June 2010!)
Since it's seems s23u is the last ultra to have the curved screen... i'm keeping it and probably get another phone soon when s25u arrives... how i wish it's as big as s20u.... 6.9 diagonal.... that was the best screen i ever had ever
If they move to a curved display I will migrate over the iPhone. Anyway I doubt it is worth upgrading. I already have the s24 ultra. The battery is at times great others i got to charge it twice a day.
If it's true that the ultra will have cheap looking rounded corners and only up to 1TB, then that's very disappointing. I'm currently using a Note 20 with 512GB internal & 1TB sd card. I do hope the ultra won't have rounded corners and offer a 2TB option otherwise it may be time to look at other options. As far as I'm concerned, the Note 20 cameras are already very good. Having now cameras on the S25 ultra won't be a good enough reason to stay with Samsung.
If they really go for the shittier curved design of the iphones instead of the current one, this would be a definite downgrade and I'm not upgrading it anymore past the S24..

How is that a new design? It’s literally the same design as years past just with better camera lenses. Software is key which is where in my opinion apple takes its all. Software and apps just work better on iPhones. iOS isn’t as open as android is which leaves it open to hacking. When the FBI couldn’t even hack into apple that should tell you how good their software is.
