Don't blame the Chinese blame the American Corporations who took all the production and manufacturing jobs overseas to China. In hopes of increasing shareholder value all companies have moved their operations overseas. Companies will do continue to do it as long as the country they are invested remains politically and socially stable. Companies have done this to compete in a world market and economy. I think that we have all clung to this idea that long-held American companies who in the past supported the United States and the American worker would continue to do so which isn't the case anymore. Foreign companies have come into the United States and set up manufacturing facilities they go to states where there is little or no union presence.

We need a President who will start up tons of manufacturing jobs here in the United States, and put millions of citizens to work. I live in Maine and there's nothing around here for work except for restaurant and flagging jobs, and we have tons of land that could be used to build manufacturing plants like we use to have in the 70's & 80's. It's like when all the automotive plants were shut down in Detroit, MI and thousands of jobs sent overseas, and by doing so it brought back crime and drugs to neighborhoods that were otherwise thriving and it destroyed entire communities as a result. Jobs are vital to ppls survival and it keeps the prices of goods and services down so ppl can afford to buy things.

Here in Russia where I live, we used to see a lot of American cars on the road (this refers to 4:00 in this video). There still are a lot of American cars here, Ford, GM, Cadillac, etc. But now, there are a LOT of Chinese cars here. I have driven many of them through carsharing services. They are very good cars! They are doing a fine job so far as I can see, though admittedly time will tell how long these cars last. However, this influx is really only about one year old, and five years takes five years to happen. As Russia has been pushed away by the West, it simply turned eastward to China and India, and you know what? Most of the world's population and economies are NOT the USA and Europe. All this has done is give a huge shot in the arm to Eastern economies, at scale. @@thunkjunk You honestly do not know? It is "fear of all things having to do with Russia." If you are an American it is more or less instilled in you from movies, books and all sorts of Cold War-era things, to make the general reaction to anything Russia does that shows its own initiative (and not being in lockstep with the Western agenda) - the gut reaction is something like "oh, crap, they are going to get us..." or some such idea, strengthened more or less by media and political rhetoric.

I'm American, yes. I don't see that anyone is afraid of Russia. Americans don't like authoritarians such as Putin or any authoritarian governments...especially governments that are hostile to Liberalism. I think in general, from TV and movies that I've seen, my idea of Russia full of strong, intelligent people with a rich culture worth sharing with the rest of us. Most of us are just people and our governments can be at odds.
The Russian guy that comes to my gym is learning to speak English and he has claimed asylum with the US Government to escape being drafted into Putin's invasion of Ukraine. He is a nice guy. I don't think he is a spy or anything like that. lol
It is a similar situation with China. I'm American but I married a Chinese woman. She immigrated here to the US and became a US Citizen. I've been to China myself, to REAL China. To the deep country, not the tourist places. And all the people there are hard working, intelligent people who were all very kind....mostly. One guy stole my wallet, but another one got it back for me. lol. He reminded me of Ip Man from the movie.
So, it is the CCP which hates America and insofar as Chinese people hate Americans or the West it is due to CCP propaganda or misunderstanding. While there can be debate about what is the best way to run an economy, that is no reason to be enemies. I don't generally see Americans hate the Chinese but more often see Americans being critical of the CCP just like that government of Russia with Putin as leader.
@@thunkjunk It was a pleasure to read your reply. Perhaps living in the Russian fishbowl led me to think that all Americans at home would know what Russophobia was. So, my apologies. It is interesting - the guy who emigrated there - there was a mobilization in late 2022, around September, and it was directed at people who had already served their required tour of duty in the Army - in Russia, as I understand it, one year of mandatory military service is required of men, unless they have an exception for university studies or something like that. Your friend there could tell you more accurately, I am sure. My stepson served a year and he was very afraid of the mobilization because it was conducted quite dishonestly in his city (Samara), and very haphazardly. While he was in service they gave him the designation of "Sniper", but he never even fired a gun during his time in service. I would be sh** scared too if someone mobilized me based on a certification I truly didn't know anything about. In the time since, the mobilization procedure became the next thing President Putin had to clean up - Russia is a lot like that - things left over from the Soviet period have not been fully revamped and restored and some of them still act like they are in the Soviet period. I was surprised by this but, you see, Moscow is kind of like the "example" city in this country. Most of the money comes here, and the city looks and feels fantastic. Samara is a wonderful place, don't get me wrong, but there are a LOT of Soviet-mentality leftovers there and they are slow to be exposed and eliminated.
As for "Authoritarian" government - well, President Putin is certainly with more authority to act than an American president. These days I thank God for Mr. Putin's ability to act in the best interests of Russia and her people. However, giving a bad person such authority is... not a pleasant thought. Imagine someone like Biden with such power... Ugh!
I am not particularly bothered by the structure of the government here - it makes a lot of sense actually, if one understands the Russian people themselves. If they wanted it to be different, they would make it different. But this country has been a monarchy under Tsarist rule for one thousand years, and the understanding (good or bad) that the Tsar is like the father to his nation still lives in a certain way here. I would have to opine that there is a characteristic in the Russian personality that simply sees things more or less the same way today - and this is exacerbated by the misuse of the word "democracy" not only in the US' rhetoric but worldwide, including here, where "democracy" is hailed as something sort of divine, but no one really defines what it means. Have you ever noticed that? We talk at home about "saving our democracy" while the government spies on us... or while people get canceled that have views outside the accepted narrative du jour. How democratic is that? So, I think the word is just meaningless except as a rhetorical stone to throw at people who ARE doing as they please which WE may not agree with (or which we are told we MUST NOT agree with...) What do you think?

The problem is made from the top people of USA and EU , if these continents are on partnership why to buy something from USA or EU a european has to pay so much postage .. USA sells oil to EU at a high price. Its obvious that certain countries on EU buy oil from Russia and bring Goods from China .. still everything is made in China from Samsung, Apple, to most of the cars manufacturers moved to China for cheap labour .. because USA and EU dont want to up your game and pay your citizens.
Fox doesn't tell you this because it's job is to mislead you. China has been able to produce more green technology then any country in the world because China leads the world in green manufacturing which enables them to produce more goods for cheaper prices. This in turn allow China to export green technology such as electric cars, solar panels, etc., to other parts of the world. U.S. can't compete because it doesn't have the manufacturing power that China has, simply put, now the US is crying foul.
China has an electric vehicle called BYD which is the top selling electric car in the world. Tesla is furious because they can't compete in sales so they lobby our government to put tough sanctions and tariffs on the vehicle. China is winning the free market game and the U.S. can't compete is why all this is happening. Wake up people, China isn't the enemy, they are just simply out competing the U.S. in the free market. If we invested more of our money on manufacturing for things that matter other than war, maybe we can see things turn around.
