I agree that 150 mph isn't something to be particularly ashamed of, though it is a let down when the car has around 950 HP. It's undeniably enough for a daily driver, so ultimately not a big deal.
Really love that at least Chinese brands are doing estates and sedans, not only SUVs. Rear end reminds me of Porsche and front is NIO like😊. Otherwise nice looking 😊❤❤

5:35 Thats actually very common, that piece is one stamping of the " outside skin" for most cars I know of :) That piece actually reaches the whole side profile from behind the front wheels all the way to the where the back bumper begins. And of course its the whole height from the rocker below to where it meets the roof. Thats why damage to a rear quarter/ wheel arch is so hard to repair because now a seam gets introduced here as rarely the whole side of a car gets changed. That said, under that upper black trim on the rear quarter panel is where the seam between two parts gets hidden on lesser cars that have seperate panels here.
I wonder how BYD is creating and maintaining insane number of new products in such as short time. No wonder, Elon musk is pissed with Tesla and will more hands on with the company

Meanwhile, this car can do 0 - 100 km/h in 3.6 s; 120 km - 0 km stop under 32.6m; rear wheel has a max turning angle of 20 degree, can do crab walk at 15 degree side way. by turning both rear wheels, this cars turning radius as small as 4.62m, which is less than a ford focus, while this car is 5.195m long. Apart from the performance, this car has air suspension, 32+ sensor for high level driving assist, self close and open electric door and many more. This car costs between 338,900 - 419,800 CNY, around 60,000 USD for it's Ultra model, tax included.

People can say whatever they like at the end the Chinese EV makers are far more humanistic in ALL aspects. The BMW i4 was not even close to a lux without at min of 15000$ package which is ridiculous meaning their base price was not even real

You mentioned a lot talking to the designers, being a designer myself I'd love to see those kind of conversations and give designers a bit more camera time so that both interviewer and creator can talk about the features of the car. i guess the reason is because Mercedes Benz owned 50% shares of Denza in the beginning (now 10% left only), the first chief designer of Denza was Olivier Boulay who designed W126 S class, W202 C class, and also Maybach 57, 62. and the first denza GT model concept car was "concept X" which was launched in 2012, the designer of this model is Gorden Wagener, who is Mercedes Benz chiefe designer, he is responsible for designing work of many models since 2002, which included E class.
I feel like so many designs get approved in China that the designer could never get made with the " established brands" :) If its really 2800kg than you would need a truck license when fully loaded :)

It is very intriguing that only about 10 years ago, videos of car accidents in China are absurd, but their recent cars are already at supercar level. I guess total ADAS could help a lot.
I would love to buy an EV from BYD, but the prices in the EU are artificially kept extreme high. Cheapest BYD is €30k. And, for us, it is getting kinda boring to have to wait for a 2-door EV. Everything is a boring 4-door and getting bigger and bigger. Whats next, 6- and 8-door EV's? 65% of the population in the EU will never use the rear doors, and even when they use it, its 2 times a year for the grandkids or the dog. Nice for the 35% 2+ households, but most households are single and duo.
Not sure why the C pillar has to go all the way to the front if there is this black bar in between. Anyway, many cars are designed like that, like the Golf 7.
