- It's Alfie's birthday, and what better to upload than one of the most notable 'hard for the sake of hard' RBN songs around? Varying lineups have had serious chokes over the years, but other than a couple of solo 3 chokes, it wasn't that long for us once we started making it to the solos consistently. Gotta love how the vocals author had to either make up the lyrics or make up where the cadences fit in and fill in the rest of the lyrics with "ree ree". Really dispelling those death metal stereotypes.

@@DaRkJoKeR77 I recall, but for it to be that close 9 years ago and not actually happen until recently... it just seemed like the song was cursed.
iirc Carson was really against doing it because he kept saying he would choke the final drum fill at the end. what makes it funny is that you just have to hit the final (YGO) as a staggered (GO)Y and it will hit every time, I'm surprised he never figured that out.

Why didn’t Alfie activate at 6:36? His overdrive meter was half-full, but was it actually not possible to activate?
Ah so this is what you meant! He didn't quite get the OD up to half-full here, he was about a tick off. So he couldn't activate. If you look at the OD on Bass and Drums at 6:22 you can see it's glowing, which means we have enough to activate, but Guitar isn't glowing.
I always wondered about that. Thanks for clarifying! And I also never noticed that faint glow in the OD bar. I guess that looks can be deceiving!
