I don't know I'll probably have people disagreeing with me but I like their energy. I have 10 years of experience in dancing (hip hop, house, lyrical jazz, disco, dancehall, vogue, break, cityjam, locking, wacking etc you name it, i've tried it...well except for ballet haha oops) and I swear this looks great to me :) You gotta remember that this is a dance school, not an idol school or anything. The song is soft as such and Apink does it wonderfully but they're supposed to be idols, not dancers, so it'll look different from what we're used to. Energy, clear moves and that you finish all of the moves are the most important things in this kind of dances in my opinion...And they seem to enjoy it so why complain :) Must agree though that 80% of the hairflipping was unnecessary.... (What a long comment wow ok sorry bye)
Okay I'll just 'reply to myself' because a few comments seem to somehow reflect on what I said and I just can't keep my mouth shut :D I won't take my words back - I think this is good. A lot better this way than if they had half-assed it (!!) Also just a reminder that this is a monthly test which makes this their chance to prove what they've learned and how they've improved = of course they want to make sure the school sees how energetic they are. This is not a contemporary, ballet etc either and it has a lot of 'sharp' moves so I really can't see how the extra power seems to bother so many? I mean I also think it could've been a little less jumpy at times etc but they're still learning and the outcome is nevertheless enjoyable to watch in my opinion :) I don't know I just see this very enthusiastic? and I like it haha
sure energy is a good thing! but in this particular song.. the energy they put in seem to be too much. this song has a powerful chorus but it's still a very somewhat soft. u should watch Luv mv.
Well I dance too, and i've danced this (luv) and i certainly don't really like their energy coz certain song should have a certain amount of energy. They've used wrong amount of energy i must say. Luv is a rather sad song and they should've put suitable amount of energy. Energetic doesn't mean good all the time.
Really good! But sometimes I feel like they put too much power? The only dance skool was better, not saying that dance skool is now bad they are always fantastic at dance covers and perfectly in sync

If that's how they do it, then let them. Dance covers don't have to be the exact same. I mean there are a few well dones but powerful talk. Come on, they are very talented and this is a dance school we are talking about. It may not show emotion, but it may teach us how to do the steps clearly and you can do the emotion part by watching Apink.

I think this is the right energy for a dance. Some choreographers say that the original choreography they make for kpop groups are more energetic and hard, and they just lower it down so they can sing and dance to it at the same time.

It's a Dance School, and as you probably saw, it's for their monthly TEST. They're SUPPOSED to put power into the dance or else they won't get a good score/grade or whatever. Consider the background, and educate yourselves, because there are a SHIT LOAD of people on almost EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR VIDEOS saying they're putting too much power. Clearly, if they aren't changing, then they're SUPPOSED to do it, and they aren't going to stop. This is how they work and are taught. They did AMAZING. I liked this better than Apink themselves, because it's more interesting and entertaining to watch than Apink's. I'm getting tired of seeing the same damn comments of "you're putting too much power" on EVERY VIDEO. If people can't see it, or don't pay attention, just don't comment. It's irritating.
For dancer, they should be powerful. For singer, they should care of the singing and the type of song. So they didn't be powerful as the dancers. Both of them are not wrong and please don't judge to them.
I agree. The dance doesn't need as much energy as they put in it. Especially when you watch the dance practice you'll notice that the apink members doesn't put as much energy in the dance but still dance amazing.

As usual, a really good cover! i just think the moves are a little bit too sharp, which makes some of the parts look bouncy. Overall, a very good job though.
The dance step is full of energy, its worth to watch but what is lack is only the expression. They need to improve on what expression they need to show according to the song. This 'Luv' is kinda sad song but the expression is kinda with smile when they dancing to this song. So yeah, overall the dance is great. Great job. =)
They dance really sharp, which is only good with the right type of music.... The dance for this song should be soft and smooth.... Nevertheless they dance really well!
it's very good in terms of technique, but i feels like the 'lovely' feeling of apink and the song meaning is gone. everyone else i also trying so hard that it's hard to focus on whoever's supposed to singing or the focus at the time. but i mean, it is a dance school so they probably focus more on technique, it's just a bit disappointing because they used to be able to get the feel of a song..

가요안무는 잘모르겠지만 스트릿의 경우는 학원에서 연습할 때 되도록 동작을 크고 강하게 하도록 시킵니다. 공연하는 무대 위치에 따라서 힘이 적거나 동작이 작으면 어색하거나 잘 안보이는 경우도 있어서 그렇지요. 오해할 수 있는게 화면의 여성들이 힘을빼고 춤을 못 춰서 저러는 것일까요? 아마 아닐겁니다. 원곡 가수가 추는 춤에 대중들이 익숙해서 그렇지 힘을 뺀다고 반드시 잘추는것도 아닐뿐더러 힘있게 추는게 그렇게 쉬운 것도 아닙니다.
전체적으로 힘을 너무준게 아닌가 싶네요....ㅠㅠ힘을주는부분이있고 부드럽게 하는 부분이있는데 데프 방송커버는 대부분 힘을 너무줘서 몸선이 이뻐보이는 곳이 있는데 그게 잘안보이는게 좀 아쉬워요 ㅠㅠ 저도 춤을 추는 입장이라...약하게하는 곳은 약하게 하면 춤선이 더이뻐보일거같아요
The dance is cool but you put too much energy into it so u make the dance look really fast and ur emotion is a little bit too strong! So if you just dance a little bit slow and put more emotion, I think you can dance more smooth and beautiful than this!
진짜 댄서되셔도될만큼인진 저도 일반인이라 모르겠지만 ... 다른 안무는 잘맞춰지던데 LUV만 유독 과장되고 딱딱하네요 . 어느정도 하면 잘춘다고 느껴지는데 이건 조금 .. 그리고 Apink 이번곡 안무가 유독 물 흐르듯이 부드러워서 그런지 이 영상에서 위화감이 드네요 ..

In Kpop dances their moves have less energy so that they're able to also focus on their singing. Please try to understand that as a company that focuses solely on dancing, that since they're not singing and just dancing they have to use a lot of energy in their movements to liven up the stage because if they did the dances how they originally were made without singing then it would be less entertaining.
been a fan of them, like their dance and dancers are great so so greaaaat! but they have to realise somehow that they should control their movements a bit like their sharp movements and power didn't suit this song well and some others too. Very nice...the synchronization was perfect ,.. But still I didn't like it that much... The moves were too fierce ... It's a very lovely cloudy song, but still they danced like they heard the beat drop .. Don't get me wrong they are very good dancers .. But maybe they should listen and understand the sound of the song better ;)

This happens a lot with DDS videos, but on some certain songs that doesn't require so much power, the dancers tend to put on too much power. For example, Miss A's Hush cover, and this one. I don't know, I just feel that they're lacking on smoothness, and pressing too much on power instead of flow.

This happens a lot with DDS videos, but on some certain songs that doesn't require so much power, the dancers tend to put on too much power. For example, Miss A's Hush cover, and this one. I don't know, I just feel that they're lacking on smoothness, and pressing too much on power instead of flow.

정말 잘추긴하는데 너무 과장됐다ㅠ 춤을 노래에맞게 춰야되는데 luv같은경우에 잔잔한 노랜데 너무 에너지넘치게 추면 안맞는달까..
