ap nay phr ghor ni kia... answer may be right or wrong. response may be right or wrong.
As far as mcqs are concerned the correct option or alternative is called "keyed response" or simply "key". this term is specifically used for correct option of mcq type questions... i never said that correct option is called response. All options of an mcq are responses and the correct response is called "keyed response" or simply "key". All the incorrect options are called distractors.
Please dig deeper inside the book and you can consult a book named classroom assessment by aiou.
