Dreamer was their attempt to get into Eurovision last year. They won the televote but Sheldon outperformed with the Jury and got the win. (Sheldon was 2nd for both)
There's no such a thing as " ESC music". ESC is ment for all music genres. Sadly the contest has turn into more of a circus durin past two decades and not that much of music anymore😒. However Voyager is a great band and Promise is one of the best songs of those few there in this year.
Yeah, Dreamer wasn't made specifically for Eurovision like Promise, they're both amazing imo but I'm still disappointed Dreamer never made it to the contest it would have been a ground-breaking moment.

@@inksentia Sorry, I already did last year. That was the first time I though his voice wasn't good enough. But in the studio track I always like him. Still I will give him the benefit of the doubt and wait for the performance at esc.
@@miguellupi8709 another band member does the screams in the breakdown for a start, but his voice is pretty spot on to the original tracks, he also moves around a lot on stage, while the mixing isn't great, these are still solid performances.
@@miguellupi8709 Yes, he underperformed a bit, plus the mixing was terrible. If you check the interviews from yesterday or from Israel he does a bit live and it sounds exactly like the studio. We''ll see.
Their songs lack of hooks and catchy dynamics. Repetition of two lines and oooh or every line starting with dreamer are so annoying. The sound is great, though. I can't help but seeing uncles and auntie gathered to play rock at the local pub 😅
