11 years + 3 months is proportionate for the extent and the time taken to do the crimes
How about what they did to Ian Gibbons. They even harassed his wife and threatened to sue her after her husband tragically took his own life.
She must pay for that too.
I wonder if she cheated in school? Ok, I don’t actually wonder. Of course she did. She had been lying and cheating for so long that she believed she could continue to bigger and bigger scores.
She could pay the victims $30k every single day of her sentence and still not pay back what she STOLE.
Holmes should have received a harsher sentence than Balwany. She clearly took advantage of him for his money and used him for cover in concealing the fraud. He did the dirty work but at her direction. Her final betrayal was firing him and dumping him from her personal life when she needed a scapegoat. Balwany had no medical or lab training. Holmes probably lied to him too to convince him that she knew what she was doing and that her invention was legitimate when it wasn’t. At some point, he had to have known the truth but by then, he was already in deep. I am not suggesting that Balwany did nothing wrong but why he received an even stiffer sentence than Holmes did makes no sense.
Last I heard it wasn't George Schultz complaining about the time lag or the losses.
The loses are coming from the plaintiffs in self fulfilling justification.

I’m not excusing her, but never forget that out of all her investors, not one asked, “Does the thing even work?” They only cared if it would make them money. It’s like littering money.
Her sentence should be atleast 30 years. The sentence of her partner in crime sunny should be 50 years.
i can understand EVERYTHING she did except allowing wrong blood results to be handed out. That is plain and simple MURDER in some cases

Everytime I hear about her sentence, it keeps dwindling down. From 20 years to 18, 15, 14.5, 12 and now 11.25 years. Next year she will be out of prison with an ankle sensor calmly buying turtle necks at Target.
It should more be like a death penalty for somebody that takes away everybody's wealth, savings and hopes and dreams. She should be locked up even if she's not given death penalty. She's an absolute crook
