The speaker didn’t “forget to tell them”, she lied about where she was. She literally says lie so many times. That’s a breach of trust, even if it was something so innocent. In fact the fact that it was something so innocent can make it worse because she lied about it so easily. It can make you think what else could they be lying about. “Is she really where she says she is?” Thoughts like that and actions like hers can shake the foundations of a relationship. Yes maybe three days of silent treatment might be too much but saying the listener is a “real piece of work”? I’d have to disagree with you there.
