Impeccable as always! I noticed that some of that Band have not yet 'passed out' - which makes the performance all the more impressive. Well done to you all on a dismal day. A very proud former Royal Marine.
Please elaborate on not having passed out yet. How do you tell the difference (kind of hoping you'll say that the drummers without scarlet stripes haven't passed out yet).
Actually - no! The Corps of Drums do not wear a broad red stripe down their trousers. In fact if you look closely at some of their LEFT sleeve you might see that there is no drum badge yet. But they were all VERY good!@@TheKira699

The excellent Royal Marines Band Service is all that remains of an Empire over which the Sun never set. And it all started with the Eastern War, during which Russian artillery and Cossacks destroyed the flower of the British nobility near Sevastopol. Which is why idiots came to power and the empire collapsed. Conclusion. Britain should develop the band service of the Royal Marines and stay as far away from Russia as possible and not anger the Russian Army.
Wonderful!
I love these guys
Respect. Full Professional.
An excellent performance
When listening to this, remember that most of this band are not yet passed out.. ie STUDENTS. Very impressive

Excellent. With a performance like this there will not be a problem keeping the 5 Corps Bands up to strength in the future.
The picture at the start, of the Marines Band standing on the wet grey ground is so well captured. Quite atmospheric
