tbh, these interviews are giving “Game of Thrones cast giving last season interviews” vibes and it’s so appropriate why did Five and Lila get together? Why would Five break his brother’s heart like that? Why would everyone ignore Sloane’s existence for six years?
This show mirrored GOT so much. Didn’t have a comic book ending to work off of. Didn’t take the usual 10 episodes and finished the story with 6. Littered with plot holes and awful writing. So disappointing to be honest.
Five and Lila got together as a form of survival and keeping their sanity intact. Staying for seven years in solitude with another, taking care of each other obviously developed a relationship between them and would be the same for anyone else Five did not intend to break Diego’s heart. He just fell in love with his wife who is also his first and last real human romantic love. Mind u Lila also fell for him. They both healed each other with those years spent were filled with some twisted peace. They lived a life away from the apocalypse and all the death and everything and one shouldn’t blame them for falling in love. It just makes sense. They probably addressed sloanes death in the beginning of their time in this timeline and the issue just isn’t that relevant anymore. Luther has gotten pass the fact that she sacrificed herself to save him. However I do wish they addressed it
Luther mentions her a few times. I think we're to assume he looked for awhile and never found her or she didn't exist in the timeline. Maybe Reginald confirmed it. We got even less info about Allison and Ray
@@Aurriliia I mean that is the rationalization that the writers give you and that's fine and all but the point here is that they wrote that situation in the first place and... for what? they could've gone soo many ways and explored so many things with this being the final season but they chose to make that a pivotal point of the story (and one that barely makes sense with the whole reckoning of their powers as well) instead of using the already limited runtime they had to really flesh out the characters instead of superficially flashing through everything, or you know fix at least some of their plot holes... Idk a lot of their decisions with the characterizations just do not sit well with a lot of fans cause they do not make much sense the more you think about them, or if you binge from the first season it's like copy paste of past things and not much progress at all, it all feels very superficial level of exploration to then have an ending that demands you to feel so much when it wasn't really there in the end.
Ahh, honestly I think I could give them a pass with Lila and Five's relationship IF it was more developed. Like we got a few minutes long montage of their 7 years, how are we supposed to process that??? They should've used a whole episode for that (if they had the time which they didn't with this ridiculus 6 episode lenght...) so we could see them slowly reach to the point where they kissed. And I could also accept the ending, again, IF they'd built it up, because if I think about it objectively there is some logic in it. What I can't accept however is how they stripped most of the characters off of their personalities! Especially Five and Klaus (tho I might be biased with them), like where did the smart and sarcastic gramps and the constantly nonsense uttering cult leader go? Everyone lost their depths and uniqueness and I just don't understand why.
I loved Lila but they ruined her character cheating on Diego with Five. Five would never do that to his brother! All the build up of her and Diego just for it to be thrown away. Episode 1-4 were great but the last two, unfortunately no. This show means the world to me. To me they are still alive in a peaceful timeline spending a happy life together.
I completely agree. The fact that Laila and the Fifth are similar in character, and the fact that they spent 7 years together is not a reason to change. The Fifth knew perfectly well that Diego was afraid that Laila was cheating on him and Five advised Laila to just talk to Diego and explain everything to him. It would have been better if there had been another girl instead of Lila, whom the Fifth would have met in another timeline and when it was time to go home, he said goodbye to her, it looked much more tragic. I was surprised that the Fifth was upset that Laila still chose Diego and not him. It makes sense that she would choose Diego because she still loves him. Diego and Laila Canon, I don't know anything. The "relationship" between Laila and the Fifth was not serious anyway, and Laila put an end to this "relationship"
I think that he should have found the book to go home first, then they can almost kiss, she can stop it and say she misses Diego and Five can interupt by sharing the journal with the way home because he hates the idea of betraying his brother. That way they can come home and say they never crossed that line.
Cried so hard watching the final season. It's getting so much hate but i liked it and thought the story line made sense- yes i also thought that was the only ending that made sense. Well done 👏👏👏
@@zenchii007yeah but the spent 7 years losing hope they'd ever get home, Lila had problems in her marriage with Diego, and five hadn't actually ever fallen in love before and he finally did with Lila so I don't think it's that weird
@@kusaiki_ck6916 Agreed but then why create that “7 year lost storyline” if diego and lila both decided to do things differently. You can see clearly how diego’s perspective changed after the day in the CIA and after that conversation with lila in the van. I am sure they could come up with a better storyline for the subway with Five but without creating this triangle as well as a moment were Lila sees that Diego regrets not seeing her struggles
I love this cast. All of them I just want to wish them more success in their future endeavors in the industry. They all hit the emotions with me I started out as a Ben fan because I lost my bestfriend so young she was like my older sister, through Scottish clans found our our families were joined and she told me that we were sisters and gunna grow old together, (ironically if you're a House fan she died of ifykyk). Because of Klaus and Ben I was invested in their dynamic, then suddenly invested in all their stories all the way through. I do wish Netxflix had funded them for the full 10 episode so some of the storylines could have been wrapped up or expanded on better. out of all the seasons I liked 2 & 3 the most. This one felt too rushed and a bit disjointed with them separated, but they had moments where they made me laugh and remember my own dysfunctional family. They captured it well.
Everyone’s talking about 5 and lila, what about luther? He just became a fumbling baffoon in the end, no story or arc or depth….. The actor still did a great job making him lovable but what kind of ending is that for him………
He deserved a real apology from Allison for what she did last season, more than 2 sentences grieving Sloane (that can be before the 6 year jump), and let Luther show more of his leadership as the glue of their family.
I woulda liked five to go crazy after 7 yrs and find a new mannequin, name her Beatrice or smth and then get flashbacks of Dolores out of guilt. Comedically and even dramatically coulda delivered more than the Five/Lila plot choice
He was already 20 when they started filming and they just kissed… 🤦♀️ they are actors, and if they don’t like some scenes they can say no, they don’t have a gun pointed at their head, plus just a little reminder in pretty woman Julia Roberts was 22 and Gere 40, but no scandal there right? And they did more than kissing.
I loved season 4. I think it was the story had a perfect ending. I love Lila and Diego. But Five and Lila did earn their moment. (Despite what most fans are saying) All in all, it was a well made season.
I was thinking about getting an umbrella tattoo about halfway through the video while looking at the poster, the ending definitely convinced me it needs to be done

Loved EVERYTHING except that it was only 6 episodes😅 i wanted more! Also wanted their kids to inherit powers😁 LOVED THE SHOW SO MUCH 100/10 😅👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I really liked Lila and Five. They spent 7 years alone and they complement each other so well. Also, Lila had put a break into her relationship with Diego before that.
It didn't make sense, it offered nothing valuable to the plot. Especially when you know the producer just wanted to force in a love story for Five.. I think it would've been better if they travelled for a few years, met the other Fives in the Diner and then came back to tell the others the truth, that would've still made sense. And maybe because she was missing her kids during that time she could've realised how important Diego is to her after all, making their reunion genuine and loving again. Would've made for a much better ending imo.
@@melanieai3104 Not every scene has to add something valuable to the plot. besides, those scenes added to the relationship development between Five and Lila. Imagine being stuck with someone you shared some attraction with for seven or eight years. Both of them experienced happiness before they died.
I was really really mad at the writers about how the show ended, but hearing Steve talk about that philosophy behind this ending convinced me a little. But I will never ever ever get over the trauma!! For that I am mad😢😢😢
Ok wait, I thought the showrunners, writers etc wanted to end the show. This guy said Netflix ended it? I wish they'd gone to a different platform or something and continued the show properly. I don't want a spinoff I want a better final season. Netflix sucks!
lila and five romantic shift was the thing that made the least sense in this season xD like five choosing lila over his family and how he is as a character and his moral? five would never. I hated it
I would watch a spinoff show of just all the Fives. 😁 I think the problem with the Lila/Five pairing is well, first the awkwardness of the age thing with the actual actors. Second, it was a sh*tty thing to do to Diego. If they had not been married with kids (why give them kids anyway, there's hardly any interaction between them and the kids and no one watching gets a sense of "family" between them), and if they had broken up amicably and it was a mutual thing, that would have been different and would not have felt like a betrayal and would not have ruined the characters. Third, it was so rushed. We saw a little montage of Five and Lila doing some little domestic stuff and struggling to survive and all that, sure. But, we didn't really go on any real adventures with them or see anything deep. It was just - boom, they've grown fonder of each other and there it is. There was no time or budget to expand the story and show it in a better way. Like, I get the CHARACTER'S points of view, it was seven years and they didn't know they'd get back and Five (who's only relationship his WHOLE LIFE was with the Dolores in his head), was probably thinking: oh, no, here I go again. At least this time I'm not alone. But, what the characters go through and the little blip of time the audience sees, well, it just seems so off.
What did the seven years do to the plot except justifying Lila and Five seriously Last time character got trapped he became an old man started whole plot and stuff, that's when a plot point contributed to the story This whole season felt like some stuff were just unnecessary and just there to take more time away from like, 6 episodes. It's just bad writing and it's sad that's what we get
I would of liked a happy ending but after re-watching the seasons. They said they was raised to save the World. And they did. Also 5 and Lila was a great love story because re-watching he murdered her parents and they always fought.

I feel like this family should come back. Don't end like this 😡
Who knows ? They had the sprouting marigold flowers in the post-credit scenes after all.
RITU IS ALWAYS SLAYING!!❤❤❤ i love her outfits ❤❤
I love that she’s nothing like Lila lol I have a love/hate relationship with Lila but Ritu is adorable!
The actors did an amazing job and so did the production.Ngl I think its fitting that they all were erased from existence but it could have been done so much better, with 4 more episodes
steve saying he wants to hear opinions but blocked everyone who shares them. like sorry that the show we love sm the season we waited for so long was just a little experiment and nothing really happens and we don’t have answers to questions because is over?
Wow that's distasteful lol he really thought he made a banger?? Did he watched his own show??
Was season 3 even part of the show???
I mean I never expected answers to most questions with this show- because it always intentional liked leaving mysteries as just… beyond what we understand as humans
Why only 6 episodes 😢 it’s the final season, we needed more time with the characters!
tbh, these interviews are giving “Game of Thrones cast giving last season interviews” vibes and it’s so appropriate
why did Five and Lila get together? Why would Five break his brother’s heart like that? Why would everyone ignore Sloane’s existence for six years?
This show mirrored GOT so much. Didn’t have a comic book ending to work off of. Didn’t take the usual 10 episodes and finished the story with 6. Littered with plot holes and awful writing. So disappointing to be honest.
Five and Lila got together as a form of survival and keeping their sanity intact. Staying for seven years in solitude with another, taking care of each other obviously developed a relationship between them and would be the same for anyone else
Five did not intend to break Diego’s heart.
@@Aurriliia
I mean that is the rationalization that the writers give you and that's fine and all but the point here is that they wrote that situation in the first place and... for what? they could've gone soo many ways and explored so many things with this being the final season but they chose to make that a pivotal point of the story (and one that barely makes sense with the whole reckoning of their powers as well) instead of using the already limited runtime they had to really flesh out the characters instead of superficially flashing through everything, or you know fix at least some of their plot holes...
STEVE WHEN I CATCH YOU STEVE
Yea that end is emotional if the emotion was rage
I loved Lila but they ruined her character cheating on Diego with Five. Five would never do that to his brother! All the build up of her and Diego just for it to be thrown away. Episode 1-4 were great but the last two, unfortunately no. This show means the world to me. To me they are still alive in a peaceful timeline spending a happy life together.
and the age gap between ritu and aidan makes it worse 😭
What did they do to five and lila😭😭
Put em on a subway and said...alright, I guess so. 😆
David you said it!!!! We are not happy as much as you're not
To see each season and thinking how great this show was; until the last season for it to end like it did was terrible but this cast was the best ❤!
9:55 David not holding back there.
Cried so hard watching the final season. It's getting so much hate but i liked it and thought the story line made sense- yes i also thought that was the only ending that made sense. Well done 👏👏👏
Justin and David seem like a super chill duo. I feel sooooo bad for Ritu and Aidan, man they had a tough season.
I will miss this show so muchhhh!!! Id love if it somehow came back!!
Plzz come back for one more time
My opinion is come back!
We need a spinoff or alternate season ending? The fact the Steve is willing to do it means it’s up to Netflix. We need to sign a petition or something
BUT JUST BECAUSE FIVE AND LILA ARE SIMILAR DOESNT MEAN THAT WAS NECESSARY 😭😭😭
Let me type in all caps so everyone knows how weally mad I am. Boo hoo it's a show get over it and stop typing in all caps
Like?? People who have things in common are also... friends. And can stay friends. 🫠
I hope this is really not the end of them. Please continue their stories….
I wish the ending had been different for these characters. They deserved better, I think.
Aiden is so five constantly drinking his coffee still 👌🏼
I love this cast. They captured it well.
the ending felt kinda rushed and like there should have been something else that could have been done.
Road trip baby shark felt like the only thing that made sense, after that it was...
Such a shame that Netflix didn't give them the full 10 episodes
Luthor should have been with sloane
Everyone’s talking about 5 and lila, what about luther? He just became a fumbling baffoon in the end, no story or arc or depth…..
The actor still did a great job making him lovable but what kind of ending is that for him………
He deserved a real apology from Allison for what she did last season, more than 2 sentences grieving Sloane (that can be before the 6 year jump), and let Luther show more of his leadership as the glue of their family.
I loved the series finale!!! Great job everyone 😊
I woulda liked five to go crazy after 7 yrs and find a new mannequin, name her Beatrice or smth and then get flashbacks of Dolores out of guilt. Comedically and even dramatically coulda delivered more than the Five/Lila plot choice
yall gotta stop shipping five with literal objects like i get five and lila was weird but it was a mannequin and its weirr
didn't expect to get spoiled for breaking bad watching this interview
5:34 The show writers waiting till Aidan Gallagher had turned 18 to film a romantic scene with an actress in her 30s is absolutely disgusting 🤮🤮🤮
Yh ikr I was going crazy when she asked the question to the both them I was like :ONG SHE SAID IT SHE SAID IT SHE'S MADE IT AWKWARD NOW NOOOO
I remember joking about it while I was watching season 4 but I didn't think they were serious...

I was saying the sameeee thing
Aiden is so gorgeous. I love him🥰
NETFLIX MAKE A SEASON 5 PLEASE!!!!!🙏🙏🙏
For the fans, true redemption
I love the serie and the ending
I'm so disappointed in the final season that I can't find the right words to reflect my rage
It was NOT the right ending!!!!!! Great series, ill miss u guys
I feel bad for Tom saying the fans aren't haters like i mean they weren't but they are now 😅
No they're not, we still love the cast, and the characters these amazing actors created were memorable and we'll always love them for that
@@djdissiagree - the actors and characters are the best… the storyline however meeeehhhh

It feels like the cut episodes there are so many questions without answers
I loved season 4. I think it was the story had a perfect ending. I love Lila and Diego. But Five and Lila did earn their moment. (Despite what most fans are saying) All in all, it was a well made season.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
SLOAN!!??
this series is incredible and the final it will be great i'm sure
I was thinking about getting an umbrella tattoo about halfway through the video while looking at the poster, the ending definitely convinced me it needs to be done
Really like this itw!
I’M SO SAD IT’S OVER😢 but I will rewatch it many times!!
My only comfort is Lila and Five being canon and al lthe chaos and bickering of this crazy, chaotic family, LOVE THEM TO BITS❤
We are sad too, but at least we can rewatch it from start to finish whenever we like now.
oh someone who actually ships Lila and Five?
I can’t believe it over I love this show I think I am your biggest fan we will see you again l hope I believe it
I think we are forgetting the fact that five literally **KILLED HER PARENTS** and she was all like “oml 45yr old in 17yr olds body 🥵🥵🥵”
(btw ur allowed to ship them, it’s a silly show, happy that you liked how they turned out)
I thought he was set up for their death? Am I misremembering that?
Make a sequel 🙏
Justin and David have such chemistry maybe they should've put them together instead 😂 what a duo, they're adorable
Lol always thought five was in the mannequin type!😂 new season kept me on edge! great work!
Steve Blackman "...some will love.." WHO LOVED THIS? WHO???
IM NOT OKAY AFTER THE FINALE but this helped
Spot-on end. Brilliant. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
First time I’ve heard that
the ending should of been more than "we never existed at all" that was quite disappointing :(
it might as well be '' and it never happened '' it was all just a dream
No way David just spoiled breaking bad for me😢 9:43
Netflix could have squeezed out two more episodes for a final season... Take it from the witcher's budget lol
The best season of all! And I loved Five and Lila line. In my opinion it was amazing and so beautiful 😍
Ikr poor guy was like 60 and and only ever dated an old mannequin
@@vibinvina4309doesn’t mean he should S-K-R-E-W his brother’s wife
Agree 💯
Loved EVERYTHING except that it was only 6 episodes😅 i wanted more! They could’ve expand on Sir Reginald where he came from or what he is and his wife more of their story at least to make it 10 episodes, other than that
Im just sad it ended I really cried when they died😢😢😢ALL GREAT ACTORS👏👏👏👏👏 I hope ITS NOT THE END😢They can always come back! Also wanted their kids to inherit powers😁 LOVED THE SHOW SO MUCH 100/10 😅👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I would love to see Klaus spinoff like the “you look like death” comic. It would be cool to see what they would do with it.
Oh, Tom, this 14:30 didn't age so well
I really liked Lila and Five. They spent 7 years alone and they complement each other so well. Also, Lila had put a break into her relationship with Diego before that.
I mean, they made sense. In the situation that they were in.
>Lila had put a break into her relationship with Diego before that
They were married, that's why no break can justify her
It didn't make sense, it offered nothing valuable to the plot.
I think the problem with the Lila/Five pairing is well, first the awkwardness of the age thing with the actual actors.
*If it’s not a spin off on five keep it!I
The ending was absolutely amazing to me. The whole story came full circle and answered alot of questions I forgot i had. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 brilliant!
We are so glad to hear you loved the ending.
We need Season "5"
What did the seven years do to the plot except justifying Lila and Five seriously
Last time character got trapped he became an old man started whole plot and stuff, that's when a plot point contributed to the story
This whole season felt like some stuff were just unnecessary and just there to take more time away from like, 6 episodes.
It's just bad writing and it's sad that's what we get
I would of liked a happy ending but after re-watching the seasons. They said they was raised to save the World. And they did. Also 5 and Lila was a great love story because re-watching he murdered her parents and they always fought.
did they ? didnt they just basically killed a few thousand worlds with billions of people just to make their ''perfect'' world ?
Make another season and change the timeline.
I finally found dolores in the park, I think. I was determined. lol
