Haha, Sam even did the "KORREKT" vocal. Apparently that line is in the German version because the band dined at a restaurant where the maître d' always said "korrrrekt!" in that voice to guests.
I live about 25 minutes away from the venue you played, but I had no idea the event was even a thing until facebook helpfully showed me an advert on the Monday :) anyway, I'll pop along the next time its on, and this vid will show me what I missed
@@Louisvevoofficial My comment to you sounded snarky. Sorry about that! They've recorded 3. Here's more info if you're curious. Look Mum No Computer (Sam Battle) and Hainbach have collaborated on several albums, with Rotopops being their debut and Pipe Dreams as a follow-up. Rotopops was recorded in Battle’s UK studio and features a blend of their unique experimental electronic styles, while Pipe Dreams, recorded in Hainbach’s Berlin studio, continued their exploration with mostly vintage gear and an improvisational approach. They recently released another album titled Ghosts, which leans into a more English-inspired sound influenced by their time in small, atmospheric pubs
For not remembering how it goes, this was exceptional. Of course, i only vaguely remember how the origjnal goes too, so this is now the canonical version and Kraftwerk murdered a fantastic LMNC/Hainbach collab
AI age? In music? I don't really see musicians doing music that don't require the "craftmanship" of producing, composing, playing, sequencing, etc... Much less making their music with "AI"
I'm a little bit of a Kraftwerk fan, but I'm only just now realising that I don't think I've ever heard the majority of the work in the original German. My mind just flipped out a little. :)
I once had a homeless friend, now deceased, who would sneak into DIY/punk shows, and whenever a band with a keyboard took the stage, he would shout at the top of his lungs “DEPECHE MODE!!!”
I guess you had a session in Germany recently. Is there any chance for seeing you live in germany the near future? The song may not be as perfect as the original, but absolutely cool because fully improvised and authentic 😊
Haha, Sam even did the "KORREKT" vocal.
Apparently that line is in the German version because the band dined at a restaurant where the maître d' always said "korrrrekt!" in that voice to guests.
And it actually is his original voice! He was recorded by Kraftwerk in their studio.
@@yoln I still remember this those rare times I can find sekt.
shared to every Kraftwerk page and group i am a member of :) well done lads good cover :D
Cool you beat me to it.
Damn, do please share links, would love to join the Party. Might have to take the TEE ;)
Be careful with this. Dirk Matten might be lurking around..
Testament to the original Kraftwerk. You can murder a Kraftwerk song and it still rocks.
This Kraftwerk is not obsolete.
What makes this the ABSOLUTE BEST is just the sheer amount of fun and shenanigans being had. Nothing has to be perfect. This is so endearing 😊
"And now, we'll have the percussionist take a soldering iron solo..."
10,000 points for singing in the original Deutsch. Minus several billion for disappointing Hainbach's daughter.
She gave me a thumbs up, all is well
@@Hainbach Yeah, no shame. It's a fine live cover.
He's a German by the sounds of it.
😂
Didn't expect Hainbach when I clicked on it. Brilliant. (Yes I know it's in the title, but it's 6AM and I just woke up.)

unexpected yet expectable collab ❤
They've written albums together so it's not totally unexpected.
@@danjwalker really? I was not aware lol

And now we need Autobahn!
Unbedingt👌💪🙏✌️❤️
Trans-Europa Express!
No, we don't.
The full 23 minute album version 😁
That or a Tour de France mobile rig just playing the album on repeat all day long few hours ahead of the actual TdF
Almost as good as the original :-)) Fresh and unexpected jam! Just awesome guys. This is what we want to see more often.
You guys nailed this!!! 100%
That was so good your “knob” 4:20 fell off 🤣🤣🤣
Great to see musicians who know their instruments just enjoying music with a friendly crowd 👍
Hey, it's old😂
Okay, this is the one song I want. Thank you.
Korrekt!
Long follower of the channel, just have to say love everything you do bro. Come dive in Cozumel and I’ll hook you up!
Set speed to 75 %, jump to 1:24, enjoy.
Perfect speed, but sounds a little distorted.
Sam & Hainbach doing Kraftwerk covers is brilliant, we need more of this!
Absolut!🙏👌✌️👍👏❤️
less Heinbach please
Wow these two touring, fucking epic.
This is golden! Super gemacht!!
Now that is definitely a classic.
Nicely done 😄👍

It takes guts making more techno after kraftwerk. This is banging ❤
love it! You did not butcher it, Ralf und Florian et al would be proud of this lo-fi interpretation!
yooo Hainbach and Look mum no computer, kraftwerk cover!
Thanks! This is awesome!!
In this AI age, this kind of musical craftsmanship is so refreshing.
refreshing since the yt channel exists!
Not sure you know what 'AI' is.
@@keithsquawk Neither do the people claiming probability engines are AI like Sam Altman and Co.

@@gregregregregregregre Have you been living in a box...???
One word: AWESOME!!!
Richtig gutes Zeug, hat mir richtig gut gefallen.

Ok Sam, you are officially allowed to come back to Germany now after this great cover ;)
Awesome take on a classic track! 🎶
40+ years old. Still kicks ass!!!!

WOW! You're a common piece of werk!

Thank you. You've made my morning.

Wunderbar! Schöne Grüße aus Düsseldorf!
Nice!!!! And good singing!
spot on
Yay I was there, awesome night 🙌🏻
RIP that synth solo...killed it..
Isn't it "Ich nähm' sie heut' gerne mit zu mir nach Haus" instead of "nehm"?
Anyhow, great job and thanks for reminding of the 80s!
Sehr gut!
Sehr gut! Wunderbar 😮
I'd have loved to play along with you guys, i love this song.

Same! I'd only heard the English releases. I'm going to have to check these out.
Get in lads!
Love it.
And by this we learned an overlooked element in Krafwerk's music.
I see LMNC lost the coin toss for who gets to use the big table.
I once had a homeless friend, now deceased, who would sneak into DIY/punk shows, and whenever a band with a keyboard took the stage, he would shout at the top of his lungs “DEPECHE MODE!!!”
Was he serious or just taking depeche?
Merci à vous!
Wow! 🔥❗️
Chills 😎 ❤
Please record this one in studio and release it as a single!
That was so cool!
Kraftwork!!!!!!!!!!
The first Pop wave band !!!!
