The 2030 FIFA World Cup will be the 24th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The 2030 World Cup will mark the centennial World Cup competition. For the first time, three countries from two continents will host the competition, with Morocco, Portugal, and Spain as host nations. Additionally, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the FIFA World Cup, in particular the first World Cup in Uruguay. The first game, alongside a special centenary celebration, will be held in the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, Uruguay. The second and third games will be held in Argentina and Paraguay, respectively. The rest of the games will be held in Morocco, Portugal, and Spain. @@ilgentile5454 Yeah, but South America is only hosting 3 out of 104 matches, and Spain, Morocco and Portugal are all right next to each other. Apparently after the 3 South American matches, they'll take a week break so players can adjust to time-zone ect.

Morocco is leaving people behind, the population have bigger goals to achieve than building a multimillion dollar stadium. This will be a symbol of how a king let their people die of starvation while showing off unnecessary opulence to the world.

South American countries only play 1 game at their home soil as a part of centenary celebration. The main event will be held in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.

@@bluegold1026 Possibly because it's a part of sportswashing by FIFA, which allowed UEFA, CAF, and CONMEBOL nations to host the World Cup so that 2034 World Cup will be held in Asia again, which is Saudi Arabia, and further complicated the 2038 World Cup bid process?
@@bluegold1026 I think the same as you, the first world cup in Uruguay, the celebration should be held in Uruguay alone. Why add Argentina and Paraguay. Too many stadiums, the audience has to travel a lot.

Ok, the stadiums in South America will host only one game each due to the WC 100th anniversary. But 20 stadiums seems to be a lot for only one World Cup although the number of teams has increased recently
Spain will only play with 9 stadiums, because 11 is a lot, and Spain must not be selfish, so it must reduce its stadiums.
Spain could easily hold a WC on its own maybe joining Portugal due to the factbthat they share the same peninsula and journeys will be easy. I still don't know why FIFA luagh in the face of these countries by adding a third.
@@tonys2189 Hold it yes but winning the bid is impossible without morocco it brought all the african and asian votes. It was going to be for saudi arabia if morocco didn't join the bid. (Fifa will pick 14 stadiums out of the 20 and where the final will be played).
@@tonys2189it would’ve been impossible for Spain and Portugal to win this bid without Morocco. Morocco brought in 56 African votes (africa unanimously met in their annual congress and decided to support Morocco whether it ran alone or with another nation). Also, the UAE and Saudi lobbied for Morocco in Asia and this is why Saudi Arabia cancelled its bid for 2030 and ran for 2034 instead. Spain only had Europe’s support and therefore zero chance to win. This was already explained by the Spain and Portuguese committee. Also, you clearly don’t travel much or else you’d know that Moroccos infrastructure has become VERY close to Spain if not better. I’ve lived in both countries under diplomatic missions and I can tell you that I was impressed with Moroccos highways more than Spanish. Same for hotels and overall service and kindness of people. Airports and stadiums can be built and it’s not like Morocco doesn’t have those.

we dont have FFP charges in Africa + all stadiums in morocco are owned by the minister of youth,education and sports so the clubs actually get the stadiums for free they only pay their part of managing fees of the stadium

Several things to comment. I think Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay and Chile can host a World Cup by themselves.
The other 21 stadiums are magnificent by the way. It's true Hassan II Stadium (Grand Stade de Casablanca) will have an incredibly immense capacity, being the largest in the world. However, both Camp Nou and especially Santiago Bernabéu (my favorite one among them all) have far more history and will also be two spectacular stadiums.

It's because no single country is prepared to take on all the costs of hosting by themselves. Even the US is sharing the burden of hosting with Canada and Mexico 🤔

@@lorenzomartinez1376 el problema es que España aceptó aquello, obviamente la idea inicial era hacerlo solo con Portugal con la preponderancia de España, pero luego se añadió Marruecos, el caso es que debería quedar como el de USA, México y Canadá, con España dejando algún partido para Marruecos y Portugal, luego los cuartos por ejemplo dejar uno para Marruecos y otro Portugal, y si acaso una semifinal Portugal pero los demás cuartos, la otra semi y la final para España, con la final jugándose en el Bernabéu, en cuanto a Argentina, Paraguay y Uruguay, no sé que pintan ni qué sentido tienen, es solo un único partido a unas 12/13 horas de vuelo, en otra estación distinta, no sé en qué se pensaba cuando se propuso esa gilipollez

La compétition aura lieu dans 3 pays voisins (Maroc, Espagne, Portugal). Pour les pays sud-américains, ce sont uniquement les matchs d'ouverture pour faire un clin d'œil historique. Les 3 pays (Maroc, Espagne, Portugal) sont très proches et les distances entre les stades sont inférieures à celles de la coupe du monde de 2030 (USA, Mexique et Canada) et celles de la coupe du monde de 2018 (Russie). D'ailleurs, il y'aura plus d'équipes que les éditions précédentes et il est préférable d'avoir plusieurs pays organisateurs.
