Some years back I purchased the V750. Out of the box it had a Green line through the scans so it had to be returned. After it returned I did not use it very often only for occasional use. When I did use once more it would not work so had to send to Epson repairers and they told me no spares as the 850 just released. So had to scrap a machine that had very little use. Put me off Epson products for ever.

How does it go scanning graded cards in a plastic case?

It works brilliantly, excellent focus and colours. Only thing I want to add is a black scanner background. In the thumbnail are some slab scans.

Hello, i know very little regarding scanners and would love some direction regarding Epson FF-680W vs Epson V850. i know the V850 will have a much higher dpi but is it needed? my reason for the purchase is to digitize 3,000 family photos of my parents who have passed so it being done right is important to me. with the speed and duplexing of thee 680 is that enough to to the job well? Thank you

Printing size for size 150dpi is enough. If you intend to reprint a higher dpi is recommended.

Is it possible to scan both sides of the card at once? If not why is there a second scanner?

The second is for scanning transparencies.

Does it couple okay with Windows 10 and 11? Thanks

I assume it will. Mac only here. The specs are on the manufacturer website.
