also,event megaboxes wasnt supposed to give rewards like they used to,because thats litteraly gonna double the progression wich is insane💀💀💀
events are mostly centered around cosmetic rewards,wich event megaboxes give out pretty good tbh

Yeah you've got someone from the chinese server here, so basically the chinese server for brawl stars is pay to win, I was very lucky to be one of the people to get the grand prize, it doesn't only max out the brawlers you have, it also maxes out the brawlers you don't have. The problem is when I got this grand prize I already have every brawler maxed out except for Poco, so I got all the gears and stuff. It's pretty crazy, useless for OG players
If you get the grand prize you also get the supposed amount of gems you'll have to spend to max out everything without the prize, I got 7856 gems back, literally no way to spend them

ngl i feel like brawlstars really should add something like this because it will be so refreshing and it feels like brawlstars has felt a little dry.. i feel like adding something like this or something similar that you can buy with credits or something would be so good.. i feel like.. making it so credits get stored automatically and not wasted on fame if you dont want them to be after you got all the brawlers.. and then also making like.. a fame box you unlock each fame level which could give you something and give you a reason to unlock fame with credits.. even if it just gave you like a title or a skin or .. just something worthwhile.. because opening stuff like this can feel so amazing especially when you can keep doing it despite your progression level.. it would be so good.. because maxed out accounts and new accounts dont get much from these.. i feel like higher level players need something to be rewarded a little more.. cosmetic wise at least
edit: i should probably clarify that i dont mean they should add something so insane like the chinese brawlstars because i know thats not a good idea.. i just think a little something on the side that.. stays there could be a really good change of pace

I just watched your other video, if the tweet explaining those 14s is right, you got two jackpots of 1/10k and you also got 8 legendary brawlers with mega box odds. The new/returning mega boxes now are just ultra boxes in disguise. 😭 (Except for the star power and the like etc, but at least the reward numbers are accurate, with cosmetics that come with skins counting as extra rewards.)

While I had fun watching this video, I couldn't help but question boxes and this type of content as well. After all, boxes are very, very close to gambling with the only difference being the technical one, that you are not actually getting something worth real money in return.
*About boxes:*
In my opinion, being able to buy boxes with real money (over gems) is actually the critical part of boxes, not the boxes themselves. That's why, while I was actually very happy about Brawl Stars removing boxes, I didnt think theyd have to go so far as completely removing them, not even being able to achieve them free to play in any way.
That is why I was completely fine with the idea of boxes coming back, however, only if they are absolutely not "gemmable" so purchasable for real money. Which is why I disagree with the return of boxes in its current form, with all these offers to buy them from gems.
*About this type of content:*
This type of content is very closely related to boxes. If boxes were not purchasable through gems, I wouldnt actually mind, but in this form, I can only disagree with it.
To elaborate on that: The human brain is simply not made for gambling. At least in the way, that it is very vulnerable to gambling. In fact, it is actually going so far, that not only doing gambling yourself causes your attention span and similar attributes to drop, no, actually even only watching it does.
That is why I cannot help feeling uneasy about this type of content. After all, the vast majority of this video was literally spent gemming boxes, which, if you read my comment, I disagree with. And it is not only this video, it has become a development that a lot of the videos of not only Rey, but all of Tribe are not about gameplay anymore at all. Sure, sometimes you see the introduction of a new brawler, but just taking a look at Kairos' F2P series, where he's literally basically never entering a single game speaks volumes.
And it's not even all that much the Creator's fault, because this type of content is often most watched- because that load of dopamine of not knowing whats in the box/stardrop is really thrilling. However, while stardrops were (at least mostly) only able to get earned by actually playing the game and not gemmable, boxes are and I think this development is worrying.
Kairos obviously plays games on his f2p account, he just doesn't show it
