Full Steam Ahead - Phases I - III launched a 3-year, $220 million dollar transformation that has really become the start of Steamboat’s vision for the future. As we close this phase of transforming the base area, enhancing the on-mountain experience, and expanding to the second-largest ski resort in Colorado, we have become keenly aware that the future is so bright for Steamboat.
Therefore, Full Steam Ahead won’t be sunsetting after Phase III when we debut the completed Wild Blue Gondola, expanded snowmaking, and 655 acres of additional terrain in Mahogany Ridge. Instead, the momentum of Full Steam Ahead will continue with development projects through the lens of staying true to our rich past and Western roots while shaping the future of the resort, the community, and the experience for our guests.
