I think this Elton John cover is absolutely beautiful, and wisely paired with Marianne. Someone Saved My Life Tonight is one of my favorites by him. Thank you for this upload. As for all of the haters with snide comments on Tori's phrasing, enunciation and timing, if you don't appreciate the way she plays and sings, you can GFY. Anyone who is a true fan knows that this is part of her live playing style. I DARE you to do what she does, as well as she does as one of the BEST singer/songwriter/musicians in the world. And no one can own a cover like her.
Very much her own now - which is great - the instrumental bridge between first and second verse she quoted the instrumental bridge and bass line of Rocket Man - which is some kind of genius! Hugs.
