i don't know about a lot of music, but I can tell you those churches that have such people who play hymns of faith have a gold mine in those who play such.

Dearest Anna...I live in Jenison, Michigan, just west of Grand Rapids. I had a heart procedure done to look for blood clots and leaking valves at the Meijer Heart Center in downtown Grand Rapids last Friday morning. I took you and your piano music with me. It was not only a comfort to me, but also a testimony to the doctors and nurses caring for me. I had many lovely comments. The Lord is using your ministry in so many different ways. Good morning Anna. Thank you so much for all the wonderful songs you played. Listening to you play was like a trip down memory lane going all the way back to the early 60s! What a blessing you are! I could sense the words of each song going through your mind as you played. We sing mostly just hymns in church but many of the songs you played I hadn’t heard in 40 to 60 years so I looked up the lyrics and sang along and my heart felt so at peace as I listened with my wife! Love your style of playing so much and now I get to try and play some songs on the piano I had completely forgotten. Thank you so much Anna! Feel like we listened to a priceless concert right in our living room! Will be praying for you and your family and thanking God for you as I do. Wow!!!

You brought tears to my eyes with "Blessed assurance"...firstly because it transported me back to 1965 when one of Billy Graham 's crusades was held in London, England and as a young teenager, I went to one night. I could see the massed choirs, as you paused the last bars! Then your key change lifted me up to "higher ground". P.S. perhaps you can fit "Lord lift me up and let me stand " in a future programme? Many blessings from Southampton. England.

Thank you so much for letting us know you’re enjoying the music. This piano is a Baldwin SF-10 that we found just a month or so ago. I fell in love with the tone and have not been disappointed. I never thought I would own a grand, but my husband kept looking for one and when we moved to live near our son in Indianapolis, our home had the perfect music room for one.
The tuner comes next week and it will be wonderful to have it tuned now that it has acclimated to its new home.

No. Actually I do ask the Lord to tune it a little bit on Sunday evenings. ;-) The tuner comes next week. We are beginning to use a special microphone which helps too. Still working on that project.
Ahh, well the microphone really works well! I'd love to know which one you're using, as I would like to start recording more and I find my iPhone microphone is brutal.@@PianoMusicbyAnnaJames

The damper pedal on the right is the most common pedal to use to connect the sounds together. Occasionally I may use the very left una corda pedal to soften the tone in a section.
