Bachmann and TCS really did an excellent job on these things. I've had one on preorder and just got it a few days ago... very very expensive, but well worth it! I have no regrets nearly going broke getting one!
The audio on the train is quite good. I've never been interested in sound upgrades because I've only heard terrible sound. Obviously you have a decent microphone to capture it. Thanks!

What is the drive train specs on these Bachmann models? 5 pole skewwound motor? Helical gears with brass worm gears? Specs would be nice for my club to know!
I dont know why Bachmann dont fit kadee couplings or similar to UK locos and stock as standard rather than the massive and ugly tension locks we have to put up with.
The rear of the unit is lit like the model. I've seen a few, but not close. Lights work well in reverse too! And that horn, WOW! That is impressive!
