陳綺貞 originally composed 《證據》 for 楊乃文's album, with 林暐哲 writing the lyrics. Later, after 魔石 closed, they all developed their careers in their own ways. Subsequently, 陳綺貞 added the lyrics for 《煙火》 on the same music and started performing it at her concerts. (That's why 《煙火》 is not in any of her released albums)
Hmmm, don't forget that during that time, this group of indie/alternative Taiwanese singers+composers+lyricists (ie 陳綺貞+楊乃文+林暐哲 +张震岳 and others) were all under the same record label 魔石, and they were collaborating quite intensively in each others' albums (and also 陳綺貞 and 张震岳 wrote many songs even for non-indie/rock singers).
Heh, there is actually a video here titled:"Cheer Chen Concert in Taichung 2006 w/ Faith Yang", where you can see 陳綺貞 and 楊乃文 sharing a stage and a song for the first time. They were singing another song that 陳綺貞 wrote for 楊乃文 - 漂著. You can really see how different their delivery styles are, yet both are very compelling singers in their own ways. ：）
:) One last 顶 for 楊乃文: Check out her early song "我給的愛" (written by the amazing 神张震岳). Her unique singing style, together with 阿岳's simple music and lyrics, makes this song and video, simply breath-taking...
So, everythings fine and they are very professional about it. :) Furthermore, both versions have their 独特味道。 I like both, but of course 陳綺貞's lyrics, as befitting her 诗仙's reputation, has that 脱俗/sublime quality that is just... sigh...
Okay, having made that last comment, I now have to say this: While 楊乃文 can be my Queen, my 女爵... ...But 陳綺貞 will always be the fresh-faced girl with the short-cropped hair, lugging her guitar around the streets, looking for "一棵凄身的树，一点空间，好让她再想一想"... (I lost my heart to her then) 陳綺貞 will always be my '我親愛的偏執狂'仙女...
